2013–14 Bolton Wanderers F.C. Season
The 2013–14 season was Bolton Wanderers' second consecutive season in the Football League Championship following their relegation from the Premier League in 2012. It covered the period from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014. Pre-season On 29 May, the club announced a new shirt sponsorship deal with pay day loan company QuickQuid, replacing 188BET who sponsored the club's shirts for the previous two seasons. The deal sparked protests from fans and local politicians alike, with a petition asking the club to rethink the decision reaching over a thousand signatures within just over twenty four hours. Marvin Sordell
Marvin Anthony Sordell (born 17 February 1991) is an English footballer who plays as a forward for club Rayners Lane. Sordell started his career with Fulham prior to joining Watford for a two-year scholarship in 2007. He made his professional debut for the club during the 2009–10 season, and also had loan spell in League One with Tranmere Rovers the same season. After 27 goals in 81 games for Watford in two and a half years, Sordell earned a £3 million move to the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers in January 2012. Kevin Cyril Davies (born 26 March 1977) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker for Chesterfield, Southampton, Blackburn Rovers, Millwall, Bolton Wanderers and Preston North End. He managed Southport in the 2017–18 season, before his contract was terminated on 30 April 2018. Julie Ann Hilling (born 29 April 1955) is a British Labour Party politician, who was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolton West from 2010 until 2015. Background Hilling was born in Oxford and lived there until the age of 9 when her family moved to Leighton Buzzard. She attended The Cedars School before studying Chemistry at the University of Nottingham and then attaining a Diploma in Youth and Community Work at Manchester Polytechnic. David Crausby
Sir David Anthony Crausby (born 17 June 1946) is a British Labour politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Bolton North East from 1997 to 2019. Born in Bury, Lancashire, Crausby worked as a turner and later became a workplace representative for the Amalgamated Engineering Union. He was a Member of Bury Metropolitan Borough Council from 1979 to 1992, and elected as an MP at the 1997 general election.
