In the 2013–14 season, Associazione Calcio Milan competed in Serie A for the 80th time, as well as the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Champions League. Philippe Mexès (born 30 March 1982) is a French former professional Association football, footballer who played as a centre-back. He represented AJ Auxerre, Auxerre, AS Roma, Roma and AC Milan at club level during a career that spanned between 1999 and 2016. Adil Rami (; born 27 December 1985) is a French former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Rami began his football career playing for amateur club Étoile Fréjus Saint-Raphaël, then known as ES Fréjus. Christian Abbiati (born 8 July 1977) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Abbiati, who had been with AC Milan since 1998, started his career with Monza, and later played more than 300 official matches for Milan.
