Simon Špilak (born 23 June 1986) is a retired Slovenian professional Road bicycle racing, road bicycle racer. Professional career Born in Tišina, Slovenia, Tišina, Špilak was the winner of the 2010 Tour de Romandie, after original race winner Alejandro Valverde had his results expunged as part of a doping suspension. Špilak went on to gain second place in that race in 2013 Tour de Romandie, 2013 and 2014 Tour de Romandie, 2014, both times behind Chris Froome. In 2013, he was the victor of the GP Miguel Induráin and the Eschborn–Frankfurt, Eschborn–Frankfurt City Loop, his only two victories of the year. In 2015, he won the general classification of the 2015 Tour de Suisse, Tour de Suisse with only five seconds of an advantage over Geraint Thomas. The victory was decided on the last day's time trial. The Grand Prix Miguel Induráin (), formerly the "Grand Prix Navarre" is a Spanish one-day road bicycle race. History The race was inaugurated in 1951, but was limited to local competition. Estella (Spanish language, Spanish) or Lizarra (Basque language, Basque) is a town located in the autonomous community of Navarre, in northern Spain. Roman Kreuziger (; born 6 May 1986) is a Czech former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2006 and 2021 for six different teams. His father, Roman Kreuziger Sr., was also a bicycle racer who won the Tour of Austria in 1991 and the Cyclocross Junior World Championships in 1983.
