The 2013 FIBA Intercontinental Cup was the 23rd edition of the FIBA Intercontinental Cup for men's professional basketball clubs and the 22nd edition of the tournament being in the form of a true intercontinental tournament for clubs. The 2 game aggregate score tournament took place at the Ginásio José Corrêa arena in Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil, on October 4 and October 6, 2013, in order to determine the world club champion. The FIBA Intercontinental Cup, previously known to as the FIBA World Cup for Champion Clubs and the FIBA Club World Cup, is an annual international men's basketball competition organised by FIBA, the sport's global governing body. The competition features the club champions of the five FIBA continental confederations, as well as one representative from the NBA G League. Shamell Jermaine Stallworth, commonly known in Brazil simply as Shamell (born September 7, 1980), is an American professional basketball player that also has Brazilian nationality.
