The 2013 BRD Brașov Challenger was a professional tennis tournament, played on clay courts, that took place in Brașov, Romania from 2 to 8 September 2013. It was the 18th edition of the BRD Brașov Challenger tournament and part of the 2013 ATP Challenger Tour. In singles, Austrian player Andreas Haider-Maurer defeated fellow Austrian Gerald Melzer. In doubles, Ukrainian Aleksandr Nedovyesov and Jaroslav Pospíšil of the Czech Republic defeated Romanian players Teodor-Dacian Crăciun and Petru-Alexandru Luncanu. Adrian Ungur (born 22 January 1985) is a Romanian former tennis player who mainly competed on the ATP Challenger Tour. He was a member of the Romania Davis Cup Team and was coached by Fabrizio Fanucci. In June 2012, Ungur reached his career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 79. Florin Mergea (; born 26 January 1985) is a Romanian former tennis player and a doubles specialist. He has reached the final of the ATP World Tour Finals in 2015 and won an ATP Masters title at the Mutua Madrid Open earlier that year. James Ward (born 9 February 1987) is a British former professional tennis player. He is a Davis Cup champion and former British No. 2. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2010 Aegon International and the semifinals of the 2011 Aegon Championships as a wildcard entry. Aleksandr Nedovyesov (; ; formerly known as Oleksandr Nedovyesov and Alexander Nedovesov; born 15 February 1987), is a Ukrainian-Kazakhstani professional tennis player. Dušan Lajović ( sr-Cyrl, Душан Лајовић; born 30 June 1990) is a Serbian professional tennis player. On 29 April 2019, he reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 23. On 21 September 2020, he peaked at No. 82 in the doubles rankings. Lajović has won two singles and two doubles titles on the ATP Tour.
