The 2012–13 UANL season is the 66th professional season of Mexico's top-flight football league. The season is split into two tournaments—the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura—each with identical formats and each contested by the same eighteen teams. Jonathan Bornstein
Jonathan Rey Bornstein (born November 7, 1984) is an American former professional soccer player who plays as a left-back. He has captained and made 38 appearances for the United States national team. In addition to also playing for Chivas USA in Major League Soccer (with whom he was the 2006 MLS Rookie of the Year, an MLS Best XI, and a two-time MLS All-Star), he has played in Liga MX and in the Israeli Premier League. José Arturo Rivas
José Arturo Rivas Mortera (born 18 October 1984) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Rivas has spent the most of his career in Tigres, winning three Liga MX, one Copa MX and one Campeón de Campeones championships. Career Rivas played most of his career with Tigres playing since 2004 to 2018 ending his career at Veracruz in 2018. Alonso Zamora
Alonso René Zamora Barrera (born 7 November 1991) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a defender. Zamora worked his way up the ranks of the Atlas youth system, before making his professional debut with Académicos in 2008, which at the time played in professional Primera Division A, on 16 August 2008. Zamora made his first-team debut on 21 June 2009, for Atlas in the Superliga 2009 against the Kansas City Wizards. He came on as a sub in the 46th minute.

Aarón ''"El Shocker"'' Fernández (born 7 July 1987) is a Mexican football coach and a former player. Career He was formed in the basic forces of Tigres de la UANL where he began his career playing in the Tigres Los Mochis subsidiary team, where he made his debut in 2006. Alan Pulido
Alan Pulido Izaguirre (born 8 March 1991) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a striker for Liga MX club Guadalajara. Pulido began his career at Tigres UANL, having his professional debut in 2009. Contractual disagreements with the club led to his absence from the 2014 Apertura tournament. In February 2015, Pulido moved abroad to join Greek club Levadiakos, before signing for Olympiacos in the summer of that year. The following season, he won the Greek Super League. Francisco Acuña
Francisco Javier Acuña Víctor (born 19 January 1988) is a former Mexican professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career UANL Acuña developed with the youth squads of Tigres UANL. In 2008, he made his debut with the reserves in the Primera División A, making eight appearances that season. He later made his Mexican Primera División debut for UANL on 19 October 2008 as a substitute in a 4–1 win over Monterrey, and scored his first professional goal in the 90th minute of the same match.
