2012–13 Stoke City F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was Stoke City's fifth season in the Premier League and the 57th in the top tier of English football. It was also the club's 150th year in existence and to mark the occasion the club had a special crest and the away kit was the same colours that Stoke Ramblers wore back in 1863, navy and cardinal Stoke also had a new shirt sponsor Bet365 taking over from Britannia. The summer of 2012 saw the departure of fan favourite Ricardo Fuller whilst in came winger Michael Kightly and USA defender Geoff Cameron, later followed by Charlie Adam and Steven Nzonzi. Stoke began the season with four straight draws and an embarrassing League Cup exit to Swindon Town. Despite recording one victory in their opening ten match they did put in some impressive performances away at Chelsea and Manchester United and at home to champions Manchester City. Daniel Lewis Collins (born 6 August 1980) is a former professional association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football)#Centre-back, centre back. Collins started his career in the Welsh leagues with Mold Alexandra F.C., Mold Alexandra and Buckley Town F.C., Buckley Town before joining Chester City F.C., Chester City in 1996. His first two seasons at Chester saw him make 20 appearances; during the 2002–03 season he went on loan to non-league side Vauxhall Motors F.C., Vauxhall Motors. Jonathan Woodgate
Jonathan Simon Woodgate (born 22 January 1980) is an English Association football, football manager and former player. Woodgate began his career at Middlesbrough but moved to Leeds United F.C., Leeds United at the age of sixteen. He was sold to Newcastle United F.C., Newcastle United for £9 million in 2003, where he impressed despite injury problems. His performances in Europe for Newcastle led to Real Madrid C.F., Real Madrid signing him for £13.4 million in 2004. Salif Diao
Salif Alassane Diao (born 10 February 1977) is a Senegalese former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Diao moved from Senegal to France when he was seventeen and started his career at Monaco, with whom he helped with the Trophée des Champions and Division 1. He failed to hold down a regular place at Monaco and moved to Sedan in 2000. Diao then had an impressive 2002 World Cup with Senegal, which attracted the attention of several Premier League sides. Thomas James Soares (born 10 July 1986) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. He has previously played for Crystal Palace, Stoke City, Bury, AFC Wimbledon and Stevenage. Louis Moult
Louis Elliot Moult (born 14 May 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker. Moult, a prolific goal scorer in Stoke City's academy and reserve side, appeared in a Premier League game in March 2010. After this Moult struggled to gain a place in the Stoke squad and was sent out on loan to Bradford City, Mansfield Town, Accrington Stanley and to Mansfield for a second time. Steven Nkemboanza Mike Christopher Nzonzi (born 15 December 1988) is a French professional association football, footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Persian Gulf Pro League club Sepahan S.C., Sepahan. Charlie Adam
Charles Graham Adam (born 10 December 1985) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently the set-piece coach at Everton. Prior to that, he was the manager of club Fleetwood Town. Adam started his senior career with Rangers. He spent much of his early senior career on loan to Ross County and St Mirren.
