The Slovenian Third Football League ( or commonly 3. SNL) is the third tier of the Football in Slovenia, Slovenian football system. Since 2019, the league consists of two regional groups (East and West). They are operated by the Intercommunal Football Associations. Format and rules Between 1992–93 and 1997–98, the Slovenian Third League was divided into two regional groups (East and West), with both group winners directly promoting to the Slovenian Second League (except in the 1994–95 season, when the top two divisions got reorganized). In the 1998–99 season, the league was expanded to four regional groups (Centre, East, North, West). Until the 2002–03 season, all four group winners were promoted directly to the second division. Malečnik
Malečnik (, ) is a village on the left bank of the Drava River east of Maribor in northeastern Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Maribor. There are two churches in the settlement. Ljutomer
Ljutomer (; ) is a town in northeastern Slovenia, east of Maribor. It is the seat of the Municipality of Ljutomer. Traditionally it was part of the region of Styria. It is now included in the Mura Statistical Region. The economy of Ljutomer is largely based on grape farming and wine making. Name Ljutomer was attested in written records in 1211 as ''Lvtenwerde'' (and as ''Lůtenwerde'' in 1242, ''Lvtenberch'' in 1249, ''Lutenberg'' in 1269, ''Luetemberg'' in 1380, and ''Lutemberg'' in 1440). The names with ''-berg'' referred to the town itself, and those with ''-werd'' to the wider area. Grad (; formerly ''Gornja Lendava'', ) is a village in the Municipality of Grad in the Prekmurje region of northeastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the municipality and is the largest and oldest settlement in the Goričko region. Name Grad was first mentioned in written sources as ''Lyndwa'', and later as ''Gornja Lendava'' (literally 'upper Lendava', contrasting with '' Dolnja Lendava'', literally 'lower Lendava'). The name of the settlement was changed from ''Gornja Lendava'' to ''Grad'' in 1952.
