The 2012–13 season was Shrewsbury's first season back in Football League One, League One following promotion from Football League Two, League Two the previous season. Graham Turner
Graham John Turner (born 5 October 1947) is an English former footballer who became a manager. His son Mark was also a professional footballer. He is fourth behind only Alex Ferguson, Neil Warnock and Arsène Wenger in terms of most games managed. After a 19-year career as a central defender in the lower divisions, he became manager of Shrewsbury Town. After winning the Third Division, he oversaw five seasons in the Second Division before being appointed manager of Aston Villa. With little success in two years, he was sacked and went to Wolves whom he took from the Fourth Division to the Second Division, winning the Football League Trophy along the way. He left in 1994 and had a year out of football before his arrival at Hereford United. A run to the Division Three play-offs was a false dawn, and a year later the Bulls were relegated to the Conference. Aaron Keith Wildig (born 15 April 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Southern Football League club Gloucester City Club career Cardiff City Wildig was born in Hereford, and began his career at Cardiff City, making his way through the club's youth system, including captaining the under-18 side. In April 2009, Wildig signed a professional contract at the club, before going on to make his professional debut at the start of the 2009–10 season, replacing Miguel Comminges during a 3–1 win over Dagenham & Redbridge in the first round of the League Cup on 11 August. Michael Hector
Michael Anthony James Hector (born 19 July 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back who plays for Dagenham & Redbridge. Born in England, he represents Jamaica at international level. Hector started his football journey at the Barking Abbey School 6th form academy. Then, Hector began his career in the youth teams at Millwall and Thurrock before moving to Reading in 2009 where he joined the academy. In his first two seasons at the club he spent time on loan at a succession of non-league sides including Didcot Town, Oxford City and Horsham. Paul Parry
Paul Ian Parry (born 19 August 1980) is a Welsh former footballer who is the assistant manager alongside Marc Ingles in the Ardal South East side Chepstow Town. He is a former Wales international, and played for Hereford United, Cardiff City, Preston North End and Shrewsbury Town during a 16-year professional career. Personal life Parry was born in Chepstow. As a youngster he attended Chepstow Comprehensive School. Joseph Anyon (born 29 December 1986) is an English footballer who played as a goalkeeper. A youth player at Port Vale, he turned professional at the club in 2004 and was loaned out to non-League sides Stafford Rangers and Harrogate Town to gain experience. He was the Vale's first-choice goalkeeper from his debut in December 2006 up until a clash that saw him break his leg in March 2009 – later in the year he was voted Player of the Year.
