2012–13 Russian Second Division
The 2012–13 Russian Second Division was the third strongest division in Russian football. The Second Division is geographically divided into 5 zones. The winners of each zone are automatically promoted into the First Division. The bottom finishers of each zone lose professional status and are relegated into the Amateur Football League. Russian Second Division
The Russian Second League (), formerly the Russian Professional Football League, are both the third (Division A) and fourth level (Division B) of Russian professional Association football, football. History In 1998–2010, it was run by the :ru:Профессиональная футбольная лига (Россия), Professional Football League. The 2011–12 season was run by the Department of Professional Football of the Russian Football Union (). From 2013 to 2021 season the league was again run by the Professional Football League and the name Second Division was no longer used, the league was just called PFL. Before the 2021–22 season, the league was merged organizationally with the second-tier Russian First League, First League and renamed to FNL2. FC Zenit Penza () is a Russian association football, football club based in Penza. It played professionally in 1948–49, 1961–1973, 1990–1999, 2002–2008, 2010–2017 and from 2021. FC Metallurg Lipetsk
FC Metallurg Lipetsk () is an association football club in Lipetsk, Russia, formed in 1957. Their home, Metallurg Stadium, is located on Pervomayskaya Street, 59, in Lipetsk. History Their best result came in 1997 when they came 2nd in the Russian First Division. Coach Stanislav Bernikov of Metallurg was attacked by fans after a defeat on 25 September 2006 on his players, they shot at the coach and team with rubber bullets.
