2012–13 Oman Federation Cup
The 2012–13 Omani Federation Cup was the second edition of a pre-season football competition held in Oman. The first edition was played in 2007. The competition started on 2 August 2012 and finished on 28 January 2013. The competition featured four groups of 3 teams, with the top two advancing to the quarter-final stages. The competition featured all the clubs playing in the top flight in the 2012–13 season. Dhofar S
The Dhofar Governorate () is the largest of the 11 governorates in the Sultanate of Oman in terms of area. It lies in southern Oman, on the eastern border with Yemen's Al Mahrah Governorate and the southern border with Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. Fanja SC
Fanja Sports Club (; known locally as ''Al-Malik''; ), known simply as Fanja, is an Omani professional sports club based in Fanja. The club currently plays in the Oman Professional League, top division of Oman Football Association. Their home ground is Al-Seeb Stadium. The stadium is government owned, but they also own their own stadium and sports equipment, as well as their own training facilities. History Fanja SC was founded in 1970 and registered in the very next year in 1971. The club has an illustrious history with a total of eight Omani League titles to their name. The club's best years were in the 1970s and the 1980s, but the death of the club owner HRH Sayyid Sami adversely affected the club and after that for the next 20 years, Fanja failed to receive even one trophy. Sur, Oman
Sur () is the capital city of Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate, and the former capital of Ash Sharqiyah Region in northeastern Oman, on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. It is located about southeast of the Omani capital Muscat. Seeb, Oman
Al-Seeb, As Seeb, As Sib, or Seeb () is a coastal fishing Provinces of Oman, province, located several kilometres northwest of Muscat, in northeastern Oman.
