2012–13 Oldham Athletic A.F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was Oldham Athletic's 16th consecutive season in the third division of the English football league system. It was Paul Dickov's third season as manager of the club. Oldham began inconsistently in the league before a poor run of form before Christmas 2012 led to Dickov's coaching team being placed on gardening leave. Victories over Nottingham Forest and Liverpool in the FA Cup followed but after a run of one point from nine games, Dickov resigned as manager on 3 February 2013. Tony Philliskirk took over as caretaker manager and Matt Smith's last minute equaliser earned Philliskirk's men an FA Cup fifth round replay against Everton which Everton ultimately won 3–1. Oldham Athletic A
Oldham is a town in Greater Manchester, England. It lies amongst the Pennines on elevated ground between the rivers Irk and Medlock, southeast of Rochdale, and northeast of Manchester. It is the administrative centre of the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, which had a population of 242,003 in 2021. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Lancashire, and with little early history to speak of, Oldham rose to prominence in the 19th century as an international centre of textile manufacture. Jean-Yves Mvoto
Jean-Yves Mvoto Owono (born 6 September 1988) is a French former professional footballer who played as a defender. He has played for English teams Oldham Athletic, Barnsley, Leyton Orient, Polish team Zawisza Bydgoszcz, Scottish sides Raith Rovers and Dunfermline Athletic, Norwegian outfit Nybergsund, before retiring after a four-year stint with German club Wormatia Worms. Jonathan Grounds
Jonathan Martin Grounds (born 2 February 1988) is an English football coach and former professional player who played as a left back or centre back. Grounds began his career with his local club, Middlesbrough, but never became a regular member of the first team; he made 33 league appearances spread across five years. He also spent time on loan to Norwich City of the Championship, twice, Scottish Premier League club Hibernian, and Chesterfield and Yeovil Town, both of League One. He left Middlesbrough in 2012 and signed for Oldham Athletic, also of League One, on a free transfer. After two seasons with Oldham, he signed for Birmingham City, where he was a first-team regular for four seasons before spending the 2018–19 season on loan at Bolton Wanderers. Connor Brown (footballer)
Connor Anton Brown (born 2 October 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right back for club Bradford (Park Avenue). He has played in the Football League for Oldham Athletic, Carlisle United and Barrow. Career Sheffield United Brown was born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. He started his career with Sheffield United as a junior in their Academy before signing a professional contract in the summer of 2011. Dean Anthony Bouzanis (born 2 October 1990) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper. He is currently a free agent. He played junior football in Australia before joining English side Liverpool, appearing for the Academy between 2007 and 2009, and also for the reserves side.
