The 2012–13 Greek Basket League was the 73rd season of the Greek Basket League, the highest tier professional basketball league in Greece. At that moment, Panathinaikos led the game by a score of 72–76. The referees stopped the game temporarily, and ordered the fans to exit the arena. However, about 120 Olympiacos fans stayed behind the VIP stands and refused to leave the arena. The Greek Basketball League (GBL), and also known as the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League (GBL) for sponsorship reasons, is the Greek basketball league system, first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. It is run by the Hellenic Basketball Association (abbreviated as HEBA; ), under the legal authority of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (abbreviated as HBF; ). Ilisia (, ) is a neighborhood of Athens, Greece, named after the river Ilisos. A portion of the neighborhood, Ano Ilisia (Upper Ilisia), is in Zografou and is near the Theology, Philosophy and Scientific faculties of the University of Athens. The lower (western) part is also known as the "Hilton" neighborhood due to the proximity of the Hilton Athens hotel. Ikaros Kallitheas B.C. (formerly Ikaros Chalkidas B.C.) is a professional basketball club that is based in Kallithea, Athens, Greece. The club has changed its home location several times.
