2012–13 Bristol Rovers F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was the 130th season in Bristol Rovers' history and their 86th in the The Football League, Football League. Rovers once again competed in Football League Two, League Two, the lowest level of the The Football League, Football League, after finishing 13th in the 2011-12 Football League Two, 2011–12 season. Bristol Rovers met Fleetwood Town F.C., Fleetwood Town for the first time in their history after their promotion from the Football Conference, Conference National. They also played at Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United's New York Stadium and Chesterfield F.C., Chesterfield's Proact Stadium for the first time. The Football League
The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. Founded in 1888 as the Football League, it is the oldest football league in the world, and was the top-level football league in England from its foundation until 1992, when the top 22 clubs split from it to form the Premier League. Jordan Calum Goddard (born 9 September 1993) is an English footballer who plays for side Bromsgrove Sporting, where he plays as a midfielder. Playing career Bristol Rovers Although still an apprentice and an under-18 squad member, he made his debut for the Bristol Rovers first team on 12 November 2011 in an FA Cup first round match against Corby Town. After the game, he was investigated by Avon and Somerset Police for allegedly urinating in front of Corby fans as he warmed-up for the match. Mitch Peter Harding (born 27 January 1994) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward for Bristol Rovers and Gloucester City during his short career. Career Harding was born in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. Mitch was selected to play for North Somerset Football Development and developed very quickly in his early years leading North Somerset to forward him to Bristol Rovers as an under-13 and was signed. He progressed through the youth team of Bristol Rovers and signed a two-year scholarship terms in the summer of 2010. Ellis Wade Harrison (born 29 January 1994) is a Welsh professional footballer who last played as a centre-forward for club Milton Keynes Dons. Conor John Joseph Gough (born 9 August 1993 in Ilford, Essex) is an English footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Coggeshall Town. Career Gough started his footballing career with Charlton Athletic signing his first professional contract in 2011 after spending two years as a scholar at the club. During his time as a professional with the London club, he was loaned five times to non-League clubs in order to gain experience. SMH Group Stadium is an all-seater football stadium in Whittington Moor, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, on the site of the former Dema Glassworks. The New York Stadium, currently known as the AESSEAL New York Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a association football, football stadium in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. Opened in July 2012, it is the home ground of Rotherham United F.C., Rotherham United Football Club, with a capacity of 12,021.
