2012–13 Birmingham City F.C. Season
The 2012–13 season was Birmingham City Football Club's 110th season in the English football league system and second consecutive season in the Football League Championship. It ran from 1 July 2012 to 30 June 2013. Under the management of Lee Clark, who succeeded Chris Hughton in June 2012 with the club in financial turmoil and a transfer embargo in place, Birmingham finished the season in 12th place in the Championship, seven points clear of relegation and seven points outside the playoff positions. In the 2012–13 League Cup, they were eliminated in the second round by Coventry City, and they lost to Leeds United in the third round of the FA Cup after a replay. Thirty-six players made at least one appearance in first-team competition, and there were seventeen different goalscorers. Lee Clark (footballer)
Lee Robert Clark (born 27 October 1972) is an English former football manager and professional player. As a player, he was a midfielder and played in the Premier League for Newcastle United, Sunderland and Fulham. He won promotion to the top flight with all three clubs he played for, winning out right the Football League First Division title in 1993, 1999 and 2001. He was also part of the Magpies squad under Kevin Keegan that finished runners-up in the top flight in consecutive seasons. He was capped 11 times by the England under-21 team and was called up to the full England squad for the World Cup warm up tournament the 1997 Tournoi de France, but he was only named a substitute and never went on to earn a full international cap. Following his retirement from playing in 2006, he later returned to Newcastle as reserve team manager, before becoming a first team coach at Norwich City. Chris Hughton
Christopher William Gerard Hughton (born 11 December 1958) is a professional football manager and former player. Born in England, he represented the Republic of Ireland national team. He was most recently head coach of the Ghana national team. After making his professional debut aged 20, Hughton spent most of his playing career with Tottenham Hotspur as a left-back, leaving in 1990 after 13 years. After relatively brief spells with West Ham United and Brentford, he retired from playing in 1993 at the age of 34. He earned 53 caps representing the Republic of Ireland, scoring one goal and starting in all three of Ireland's games at UEFA Euro 1988 in West Germany. From 1993 to 2007, Hughton served as coach and then assistant manager for Tottenham. He joined Newcastle United as first team coach in 2008, and, following their relegation, became caretaker manager. Westendorf, Austria
Westendorf is a municipality and a village in the Kitzbühel district in the Austrian state of Tyrol located 13.7 km west of Kitzbühel and 12 km southeast of Wörgl in the Brixental valley.
