Accrington Stanley F
Accrington is a town in the Hyndburn borough of Lancashire, England. It lies about east of Blackburn, west of Burnley, east of Preston, north of Manchester and is situated on the culverted River Hyndburn. Commonly abbreviated by locals to "Accy", the town has a population of 35,456 according to the 2011 census. Accrington is the largest settlement and the seat of the Hyndburn borough council. Accrington is a former centre of the cotton and textile machinery industries. The town is famed for manufacturing the hardest and densest building bricks in the world, "The Accrington NORI" (iron), which were used in the construction of the Empire State Building and for the foundations of Blackpool Tower and the Haworth Art Gallery which holds Europe's largest collection of Tiffany glass. Peter Murphy (footballer Born 1990)
Peter James Murphy (born 13 February 1990) is an English former professional footballer who played primarily as a midfielder but was also a capable defender. Playing career Murphy joined Stanley as a 16-year-old. Towards the end of the 2007–08 season, he spent a few weeks on loan at Northern Premier League club Prescot Cables to gain experience, and signed his first professional contract with Stanley on his return from loan, in April 2008. He made his debut for Stanley on 26 April, in the Football League Two clash with Wrexham which ended as a 3–1 win. He signed a new contract in May 2010 and again in 2012. He then signed for Wycombe Wanderers in 2014 on a free transfer. He opened the scoring for Wycombe on his debut, as they beat Newport County 2–0. He joined Morecambe on 8 June 2015. Nicky Hunt
Nicholas Brett Hunt (born 3 September 1983) is an English former footballer. He is a coach for Warrington Rylands 1906. He is best known for his spell at Bolton Wanderers at the beginning of his career. Originally a right-back, he converted to centre-back in 2016 in order to extend his playing career. He made 127 Premier League appearances for Bolton Wanderers and more than 250 in the Football League for a variety of clubs, and represented England at under-21 level. Luke Stephen Clark (born 24 May 1994) is an English footballer who plays as a right back or as a central midfielder, most recently for Marine. Career Before joining Preston North End, Clark was with Everton. His first appearance for Preston was on 7 November 2011 in the EFL Trophy against Rochdale, having a shot narrowly going wide, then scoring the winning penalty in a penalty shoot-out, which Preston won 4–2. George Thomas Miller (born 25 November 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays for Swindon Supermarine as a midfielder. Career Born in Eccleston, Miller turned professional with Preston North End in January 2010, and made his senior début for Preston in May 2011 against Watford and won the game 3–1. In March 2012, Miller made his first start for Preston in a 3–0 loss to Colchester United. He came close to scoring his first senior goal for his club in this match, hitting the underside of the bar in the 15th minute of the game. Aidan Luke Chippendale (born 24 May 1992) is an English footballer who plays as a winger for Bury AFC. Will Hatfield
William Henry Hatfield (born 10 October 1991) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Darlington. He began his career with Leeds United, but never made an appearance for their first team. He went on to play in the Football League for Accrington Stanley as well as in non-League for York City, FC Halifax Town, Guiseley, Darlington and AFC Fylde. He returned to Darlington in August 2023. Francis Jeffers
Francis Jeffers (born 25 January 1981) is an English football coach and former player, who was most recently a first-team coach at Oldham Athletic. Jeffers started his career at his boyhood club Everton, making his debut in 1997 as a 16-year-old. After scoring 20 goals in 60 appearances for Everton, he signed for Arsenal in 2001. During his time at Arsenal, he won the FA Cup twice in 2002 and 2003 despite not being a member of either Cup Final squad. Charlie John Barnett (born 19 September 1988) is an English footballer. Career Liverpool Reserves/Academy In the early days of Barnett's career, he played for Liverpool Youth side, with whom he won the FA Youth Cup in 2006 and 2007, before being released by the club, having never made an appearance for the side. Craig Anthony Lindfield (born 7 September 1988) is an English semi-professional footballer who plays as a winger. Early life Lindfield attended Brookdale Primary School from 1993 to 2000 and then Calday Grange Grammar School between 2000 and 2005, and played cricket for his local club Upton CC. Dean Winnard
Dean Winnard (born 20 August 1989) is an English footballer who last played for Marine in the Northern Premier League Division One West. His natural position is as a central defender. However, at Accrington Stanley, he was predominantly used as a left full-back.
