The 2011–12 season was the 64th season in the existence of FC Steaua București and the club's 64th consecutive season in the top flight of Romanian football. George Becali
George "Gigi" Becali (; born 25 June 1958) is a Romanian businessman, writer, politician and former convict, mostly known for his ownership of the FCSB football club. Becali was a Member of the European Parliament between June 2009 and December 2012, and a Parliament of Romania, Member of the Romanian Parliament from December 2012 up until his conviction in May 2013. In 2024 Romanian parliamentary election, 2024, Becali was elected a member of the Chamber of Deputies (Romania), Chamber of Deputies for the AUR party, but left in March 2025 due to chairman George Simion's decision of collected signatures for a female presidential candidate. Fotbal Club FCSB (), formerly named and still sometimes referred to as FC Steaua București, is a Romanian professional Association football, football club based in Bucharest. It has spent its entire history in the Liga I, the top flight of the Romanian football league system. FCU 1948 Craiova Fotbal Club, commonly known as FC U Craiova 1948 or simply FC U Craiova, is a Romanian professional football club based in Craiova, Dolj County, that competes in the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian league system. FC U Craiova is—along with CS Universitatea Craiova—one of the two entities asserting the history of the original Universitatea Craiova football team, which between 1948 and 1991 won four national titles and five national cups. Mihai Costea
Mihai Alexandru Costea (born 29 May 1988) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Sparta Râmnicu Vâlcea. He is the younger brother of Florin Costea. Club career FC U Craiova Costea played in Universitatea Craiova youth team. In 2008 the player was promoted to the first team, where he joined his older brother Florin Costea. Though his favorite positions are striker or winger, due to lack of players at Universitatea Craiova he was often used as a left midfielder. Mihai Răduț
Mihai Cosmin Răduț (born 18 March 1990) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga II club FC U Craiova. Răduț started out at Internațional Curtea de Argeș in 2009, and one year later earned a transfer to Steaua București. He also represented Pandurii Târgu Jiu, Astra Giurgiu and Voluntari in his native country, while abroad he featured for Hatta Club, Lech Poznań and Aris Limassol. Alexandru Mihăiță Chipciu (; born 18 May 1989) is a Romanian professional Association football, footballer who plays for Liga I club FC Universitatea Cluj, Universitatea Cluj, which he captains.
