2011–12 CEV Challenge Cup
The 2011–12 CEV Challenge Cup was the 32nd edition of the European CEV Challenge Cup, Challenge Cup volleyball club tournament, the former CEV Cup. The final of 2011–12 CEV Challenge Cup became Polish derby, because of AZS Częstochowa, Tytan AZS Częstochowa and AZS Politechnika Warszawska meetings. AZS Częstochowa, Tytan AZS Częstochowa won the first match and lost the next one after tie-break, but their victory was decided by the golden set. The Most Valuable Player of final matches was chosen captain of winner team, Polish player Dawid Murek. The CEV Challenge Cup is the third tier official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition started in the 1980–81 season under the name CEV Cup. In 2007 it was renamed to CEV Challenge Cup. Hapoel Kfar Saba
Hapoel Kfar Saba F.C. (, ''Moadon Kaduregel Hapoel Kfar Saba'') is an Israeli football club based in Kfar Saba. The club competes in the Liga Leumit and plays home matches at Levita Stadium. History The club was established in 1928. In 1951–52 they won the South Division of Liga Bet to win promotion to Liga Alef (then the top division). Three years later they finished third from bottom and had to take part in promotion/relegation play-offs with the two top clubs from the second tier. They were unbeatnd during the play-offs and retained their place in Liga Leumit (which had replaced Liga Alef as the top division). However, in 1955–56, they finished bottom and were relegated. Hapoel made an immediate return to Liga Leumit. They finished bottom in 1957–58, but avoided the drop as no clubs were relegated. Team Lakkapää (formerly Perungan Pojat and Rovaniemen Santasport) is a professional volleyball team from Rovaniemi, Finland. Pielaveden Sampo is a professional volleyball club based in Pielavesi, a small town in Eastern Finland. The club is one of the most successful teams in the Finland volleyball league. The team has become a national champion in the national volleyball league three times, in 2004, 2005, and 2009, and has been the first runner-up in 2001, 2007, 2008, and 2010. Sampo has also won a bronze medal in 2002 and 2003. There have also been plenty of famous players playing on the team, e.g. Olli Kunnari and Urpo Sivula. VK Dukla Liberec () is a Czech volleyball club based in Liberec. The club was born in 1948 in Prague, and in its history changed its headquarters several times: in 1957 it moved from the Czechoslovak capital to the town of Kolín, in 1966 to Jihlava, and finally in 1969 settled permanently in Liberec.
