2011 U.S. F2000 Winterfest
The 2011 U.S. F2000 Cooper Tires Winterfest was the first winter racing series promoted by the U.S. F2000 National Championship. It consisted of five races held during two race meets in January 2011. It served as preparation for the 2011 U.S. F2000 National Championship and was contested using 2010 rules. The championship saw only a handful of entries. Zach Veach won the championship over Andretti Autosport teammate Spencer Pigot by six points as they each won two races. Vinícius Perdigão won the first race but faded to fourth in the championship. Trent Hindman
Trent Hindman (born September 20, 1995 in West Long Branch, New Jersey) is an American racing driver. Hindman won the 2014 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge in the GS class. He also was selected by BMW Motorsport for their junior program in 2015. Career Karting Hindman started karting at eight years old at his local kart track Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. In 2004, Hindman competed in the Junior Sportsman category at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. The young driver won the category in 2006 at the local track and also the New Jersey state championship. In the same year Hindman also made his debut in the World Karting Association. Trent Hindman won his first national karting championship in 2008. The young talent won the Stars of Karting national championship in the Cadet class. 2011 IndyCar Series Season
The 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series was the 16th season of the IndyCar Series and the 100th recognized season of American open-wheel motor racing. The season was sanctioned by IndyCar and was part of the Mazda Road to Indy. The season began in March and concluded in October, consisting of seventeen events. It was the final season running the IR–05 Dallara spec cars, which had been the series' sole chassis supplier since 2007. It was also the final season running the ''Honda Indy V8'' naturally-aspirated engines, which had been the series' sole engine supplier since 2006. In a motorsports race, the pole position is usually the best and "statistically the most advantageous" starting position on the track. The pole position is usually earned by the driver with the best qualifying times in the trials before the race. The number-one qualifying driver is also referred to as the pole-sitter. Zach Veach
Zachary E. Veach (born December 9, 1994) is an American auto racing driver who competes full time in the IMSA SportsCar Championship GT3 class for Vasser Sullivan. Veach was named to CNN's list of "Intriguing People" in May 2010, is the national spokesperson for FocusDriven, and released his first book, ''99 Things Teens Wish They Knew Before Turning 16'' on NBC's ''The Today Show'' on March 2, 2011.
