These are the late night schedules for the four United States broadcast networks that offer programming during this time period, from September 2010 to August 2011. All times are Eastern or Pacific. Affiliates will fill non-network schedule with local, syndicated, or paid programming. Affiliates also have the option to preempt or delay network programming at their discretion. ''Early Today'' is an American early morning news broadcasting#Television, television news program that is broadcast on NBC on weekday mornings. The program is hosted by Frances Rivera, and features general national and international news stories, financial and entertainment news, off-beat stories, national weather forecasts, and sports highlights. Overview ''Early Today'' is the only early morning network newscast on any of the Big Three TV Networks, three largest U.S. television networks (NBC, American Broadcasting Company, ABC, or CBS) that is not produced jointly with an overnight news program. ''The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien'' is an American television talk show broadcast by NBC. The show is the fifth installment of ''The Tonight Show'', hosted by Conan O'Brien. It aired from June 1, 2009, to January 22, 2010, succeeding ''The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'' and ended when Leno returned to the role of ''Tonight Show'' host. Sit Down, Shut Up (2009 TV Series)
''Sit Down, Shut Up'' (sometimes also known as ''Sit Down, Shut Up!'' in some promos) is an American adult animated television series developed by Mitchell Hurwitz for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series focuses on a group of high school teachers in a small town in Florida "who don't care about teaching". The series premiered on April 19, 2009, in the Fox's Animation Domination block on Fox, but after four episodes aired, Fox removed the show from the block due to low ratings. The remaining nine episodes aired on Saturdays at midnight from later in the year. The show was cancelled on November 21, 2009. Based on the Australian live-action sitcom of the same name, creator Mitchell Hurwitz came up with the idea for an animated version in 2000. He wrote a script for a pilot episode, but "kept it in a drawer" until he pitched the show to different networks in 2008 when he needed money.
