2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2010–11 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 20th since its establishment and third since its reorganization. Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions, having won their 5th league title. A total of sixteen teams participated in the competition, fourteen of them contested the 2009–10 season while the remaining two were promoted from the Ukrainian First League. The competition began on 9 July 2010 with four games. After the 19th Round, the competition was suspended for the winter break and resumed on 3 March 2011. On 6 May 2011, Shakhtar Donetsk retained the championship with a 2–0 derby victory over rivals Metalurh Donetsk. The top five teams were exactly the same as the previous season. The Ukrainian Premier League ( ) or UPL is a professional association football league in Ukraine and the highest level of the Ukrainian football league system. FC Zorya Luhansk
FC Zorya Luhansk ( ) is a Ukrainian football team. Zorya Luhansk was based in the city of Luhansk, Ukraine. However, due to the Russo-Ukrainian War, the team currently plays its games at Slavutych-Arena in Zaporizhzhia. The modern club as a team of masters was established on 10 April 1964 by the Football Federation of the Soviet Union merging the October Revolution Plant ( Luhanskteplovoz) sports club Zorya and the Luhansk regional branch of the " Trudovye Rezervy" sports society. In 1972, as Zaria Voroshilovgrad, the club became the first provincial Soviet club to win the Soviet Top League title. Vadym Tyschenko
Vadym Mykolayovych Tyshchenko or Vadim Nikolayevich Tishchenko (; 24 March 1963 – 14 December 2015) was a Soviet and Ukrainian association football player and Ukrainian coach. Biography Tyshchenko was born on 24 March 1963 in a small city of Horodok near LvivVerbitsky, I. Good-tempered giant. Whom was Vadym Tyshchenko'. Andriy Rusol
Andrii Anatoliyovych Rusol (; born 16 January 1983) is a Ukrainian retired footballer who formerly played as a defender for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and the Ukraine national team. Club career Andrii was a defender. He started his career with Zirka Kirovohrad in the 1998–99 season. He then transferred to Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih for the 1999–2000 season. He played for Kryvbas until 2003, when he was transferred to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. He played 117 matches for Dnipro and scored 5 goals. In the 2007–08 season, Rusol became the captain of Dnipro. Juande Ramos
Juan de la Cruz "Juande" Ramos Cano (born 25 September 1954) is a former Spanish footballer and manager. After playing and managing at an amateur level, Ramos led Rayo Vallecano to promotion to La Liga, followed by reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup in 2001. After brief spells in La Liga at Real Betis, Espanyol and Málaga, he took over at Sevilla in 2005. FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih () is a Ukraine, Ukrainian professional Association football, football club based in Kryvyi Rih. Until 2013 the club participated in professional competitions. In June 2013 the club went bankrupt and was expelled from the Ukrainian Premier League. There was a failed attempt to revive the club in 2014, until finally the club was reestablished again in 2015. FC Sevastopol () was a Ukrainian football club based in Sevastopol. The club was a spiritual descendant of the Soviet clubs from Sevastopol such as Chaika Sevastopol. The Persha Liha ( ) or Ukrainian First League is a Ukrainian football league system, level of national football competitions (second tier) in Ukraine governed by the Professional Football League of Ukraine, Professional Football League at the discretion of the Ukrainian Association of Football.
