2010–11 Parma FC Season
The 2010–11 season of Parma F.C. was Parma's 20th season and 2nd consecutive season in Serie A, having finished in 8th position in the previous season. The club was embroiled in a relegation dogfight for much of the season, but managed to secure their place in Serie A for the following year on 8 May with two games to spare. As well as competing in Serie A as one of twenty teams, Parma took part in the 2010–11 edition of the Coppa Italia but were eliminated by Palermo at the quarter-final stage. Parma started the season with a new head coach after Francesco Guidolin resigned from the post in late May as he was appointed by Udinese. His successor, Pasquale Marino, who was also Guidolin's predecessor at Udinese, was announced as head coach on 2 June 2010, but was sacked with seven games of the season left on 3 April 2011. Parma F
Parma (; ) is a city in the northern Italian region of Emilia-Romagna known for its architecture, Giuseppe Verdi, music, art, prosciutto (ham), Parmesan, cheese and surrounding countryside. With a population of 198,986 inhabitants as of 2025, Parma is the second most populous city in Emilia-Romagna after Bologna, the region's capital. Matteo Mandorlini
Matteo Mandorlini (born 22 October 1988) is an Italian footballer who plays as midfielder for Serie D club Ravenna. He is the son of football coach Andrea Mandorlini, who also played as a footballer with Inter Milan in the 1980s. His brother Davide is also a footballer. Club career Parma Matteo born Mandorlini in Como, Lombardy, when his father Andrea playing for Internazionale. He started his career with Emilia–Romagna side Parma. Mandorlini has made one Serie A appearance for Parma, that being Parma's 1–0 loss to S.S. Lazio on 14 May 2006 during the 2005–06 season. Alberto Paloschi
Alberto Paloschi (; born 4 January 1990) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serie D club Calcio Desenzano. Club career Milan Paloschi won the National Under-17s Championship with Milan in the 2006–07 season. He scored 3 goals in a 4–0 win over Genoa in the final. Paloschi made his professional debut on 20 December 2007, scoring in the first leg of the Coppa Italia round of 16 against Catania, and scored a second goal in the return leg on 16 January 2008. He made his Serie A debut on 10 February 2008 against Siena replacing Serginho, and scored the game's only goal with his first touch, just seventeen seconds after coming on. He started the next Serie A match against Livorno. On 19 March he scored AC Milan's only goal in a 2–1 home loss against Sampdoria. Cristiano Lucarelli
Cristiano Lucarelli (; born 4 October 1975) is an Italian football manager and a former player who played as a forward. Club career Lucarelli was born in Livorno, Italy. A journeyman striker, he had stints with eight different teams (including a brief run in Spain with Valencia) before signing with hometown Livorno in 2003. While playing for Torino the previous season, he attended a match that saw Livorno emerge victorious and earn promotion to Serie B, and he was among a throng of fans who rushed the pitch afterwards in celebration. He made an immediate impact in Livorno's return to Serie A in the 2003–04 season, scoring 29 goals in 38 matches and instantly winning a place in the hearts of ''Amaranto'' fans.
