2010–11 Macedonian First Football League
The 2010–11 Macedonian First League was the 19th season of the Macedonian First Football League, the highest Association football, football league of North Macedonia, Macedonia. It began on 31 July 2010 and ended on 28 May 2011. KF Renova, Renova were the defending champions having won their first Macedonian championship last season. The competition was won by KF Shkëndija, Shkëndija, who earned their first overall Macedonian title. FK Skopje and FK Pelister, Pelister were relegated to the Macedonian Second Football League, Second League. FK Vardar, Vardar were spared from relegation because of fusion with FK Miravci, Miravci. Promotion and relegation 1 Makedonija G.P. and Sloga Jugomagnat were expelled from the First League due to boycotting two matches in the season. Klubi i Futbollit Shkëndija (), commonly known as Shkëndija, is a professional football club based in Tetovo, North Macedonia. 2009 European Football Betting Scandal
The 2009 European football betting scandal was an attempt to influence the outcome of professional association football matches in Europe, and to defraud the gambling industry by betting on the results. The investigation centres on around 200 fixtures, including domestic league games in nine European countries: Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Austria. GFK Ohrid Lychnidos (; ) is a football club from the city of Ohrid in North Macedonia. They play in blue and white jerseys at the SRC Biljanini Izvori football complex and its currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History The club was created in 1921 under the name OSK Ohrid. FK Pobeda () was a football club based in the city of Prilep, North Macedonia. History The club was founded in 1941 as Goce Delčev and renamed in 1950 to FK Pobeda. FK Pobeda has been a winner of Macedonian First League for two times (eight times as Republic League in Yugoslavia), and Macedonian Football Cup for one time (eight times as Republic Cup in Yugoslavia). FK Sloga Jugomagnat () was a football club that played in Skopje, North Macedonia. History Zafer's era (1927–1945) The club was established in 1927 under the name FK Zafer by the football enthusiasts coming from Skopje's neighborhood Livadishta meaning Meadow.
