2010–11 Danish 1st Division
The 2010–11 Danish 1st Division season was the 15th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship, governed by the Danish Football Association. It is set to start on 6 August 2010 with the recently relegated HB Køge facing off against last season's eighth-place finisher FC Fyn. The final matches of the season are scheduled for 29 May 2011. This will be the last season with a sixteen-club First Division. As only one team will be promoted from the Second Divisions, the league will be reduced to fourteen teams from the next season and eventually to twelve teams in the following season (2012–13), switching to the same system as the Superliga with three round-robin rounds and two relegation spots. On March 4, 2011 Vejle BK and Kolding FC's application for a cooperation forming Vejle Boldklub Kolding was accepted by the Danish FA. Aarhus Gymnastikforening
Aarhus Gymnastikforening (; commonly known as AGF ) is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country where gymnastics and fencing were featured as its main sports. However, AGF is mostly known for its football department, which was established in 1902. Currently, the club's first team plays in the Danish Superliga, the top flight of the Danish football league system. AGF has won five Danish Football Championships and a shared record nine Danish Cups. In 1961, AGF reached the quarter-finals of the European Cup where they were knocked out by later winners, Benfica. In 1989, AGF again reached a European quarter-final, this time in the European Cup Winners' Cup, where they lost 1–0 on aggregate to later winners FC Barcelona. 2011–12 Danish 2nd Divisions
The 2011–12 Danish 2nd Divisions, beginning on 6 August 2011 and ending on 16 June 2012, will be the divided in two groups of sixteen teams. The two group winners will face each other for a single promotion spot in a two-legged play-off, rather than the normal three promotion spots, as decided in March 2010. This is done to reduce the First Division from 14 to 12 teams. Because of an uneven distribution of West and East-teams (divided by the Great Belt), two East-teams, Lolland-Falster Alliancen and BK Skjold, were drawn into the West-division. The 2004–05 Danish 1st Division season was the 60th season of the Danish 1st Division league championship and the 19th consecutive as a second tier competition governed by the Danish Football Association. 2009–10 Danish Superliga
The 2009–10 Danish Superliga season was the 20th season of the Danish Superliga league championship, which determinates the winners of the Danish football championship. It is governed by the Danish Football Association. The tournament started on 18 July 2009 and concluded on 16 May 2010. The Danish champions qualify for 2010–11 UEFA Champions League qualification. Runners-up and 3rd placed team qualify for 2010–11 UEFA Europa League qualification. The 11th and 12th placed teams will be relegated to the 1st Division. The 1st Division champions and runners-up will be promoted to the Superliga. On 5 May 2010, FC Copenhagen (''FC København'') won the title for the eighth time in 17 years after defeating HB Køge 4–0. Football Club Vestsjælland (), commonly referred to as FC Vestsjælland or simply FCV, was a Danish association football, football club formed in Slagelse, Denmark on 1 July 2008.
