Central Coast Mariners
Central Coast Mariners Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in Gosford, on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It competes in the A-League Men, under licence from the Australian Professional Leagues (APL). The Mariners were founded in 2004 and are one of the eight original A-League teams. It is the first professional sports club from the Gosford region to compete in a national competition. Despite being one of the smallest clubs in the league, the Central Coast Mariners have claimed three A-League Championships from six Grand Final appearances and topped the table to win the A-League Premiership three times. The club has also appeared in the AFC Champions League five times and won the AFC Cup once. Bankstown City Lions Football Club, commonly referred to as Bankstown City Lions or simply Bankstown City, is an Australian football club from Bankstown, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. They compete in the NSW League One Men's, playing their home games at Jensen Oval. Brady Smith (born 10 August 1989 in Gosford, New South Wales) is an Australian footballer who played for the Central Coast Mariners. Club career Smith made his debut for the Mariners in a 3–0 victory over Newcastle Jets in Round 26 of the 2009-10 A-League season at Bluetongue Stadium on 8 February 2010, after the game was postponed from 6 February due to a waterlogged pitch. He was a 69th-minute substitute for another Mariners youngster, and captain of the Mariners National Youth League team, Panny Nikas (who was making his first senior start). Mohammad Mustafa Amini Castillo (Dari: محمد مصطفی امينى كاستيلو, born 20 April 1993), known as Mustafa Amini, is an Australian professional soccer player who is currently a free agent, having most recently played for Perth Glory. He has been capped by the Australian national team. Born in Sydney, Amini played youth football with the Australian Institute of Sport before starting his professional career with Central Coast Mariners in the A-League. In 2011, Amini signed for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. After playing only for their second team, he transferred in 2015 to Randers FC. McKellar Park, formerly known as Belconnen Soccer Centre and McKellar Soccer Centre, is an association football stadium in the Canberra suburb of McKellar, in Australia. The playing surface is rectangular in shape and is used almost exclusively for association football matches. The venue is the home ground of National Premier Leagues Capital Football club Belconnen United FC and W-League club Canberra United FC. John Hutchinson (footballer, Born 1979)
John Paul Hutchinson (born 29 December 1979) is a football manager and former player who is the head coach of J2 League club Júbilo Iwata. He played as a central midfielder for Eastern Pride, Northern Spirit, Manly United, Chengdu Blades and Central Coast Mariners, for whom he served as captain. Born in Australia, he represented the Malta national team. Hutchinson was born in Morwell, Victoria and made his senior debut for Eastern Pride in the National Soccer League in 1997. Hutchinson went on to play for Northern Spirit and Manly United before joining Central Coast Mariners in 2005. Hutchinson is the all-time most-capped Mariners player. Dustin Wells
Dustin Wells (born 31 May 1983) is an Australian footballer who plays for Belconnen United in the National Premier Leagues. Club career Wells joined National Soccer League side Wollongong Wolves from the AIS ahead of the 2001–02 season, aged eighteen. He was immediately selected as part of Wollongong's first-team squad and became a frequent starter by the end of the season. In September 2004, Wells trialled for Romanian club Dinamo București, along with fellow Australian Ryan Griffiths. After Wells was not signed by Dinamo, he was reportedly signed by another Romanian side, Oțelul Galați, on a three-month contract with an option for a further two-and-a-half years. Belconnen United Football Club (formerly ''Belconnen Blue Devils'') is an Australian semi-professional association football club based in the northern Canberra region of Belconnen, Australian Capital Territory, ACT. The women's First Grade team currently competes in the National Premier Leagues Capital Football.
