2010 EuroBOSS Series
The 2010 EuroBOSS Series season was the tenth year of the EuroBOSS Series. The championship began on 8 August at Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, Magny-Cours and was due to finish on 31 October at Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, Portimão, after five double-header rounds. However, the last three race meetings were called off due to the lack of driver entries to the series. This meant the season ended with the Slovakiaring round on 22 August. With two wins and two 2nd places from the four races held, Damien Charveriat won the EuroBOSS class at the wheel of his Zele Racing Dallara GP2/05 that had been formerly run in the GP2 Series. Andreas Zuber, himself a former GP2 racer, was the only other driver to compete in the class, winning both races at the Slovakiaring. EuroBOSS Series
The BOSS GP Racing Series is a motor racing series in Europe. The category originated in 1995 as the BOSS Formula series and evolved into the EuroBOSS Series. BOSS is an acronym that stands for Big Open Single Seaters. History The BOSS series was created by Roger Cowman & Mark Haddon in 1995 under the regulations of the RAC Motor Sports Association and raced mainly in Great Britain. The series grew in popularity and later expanded to Europe, being renamed to ''European BOSS'' (shortened by the competitors to EuroBOSS) following the European expansion and the involvement of Paul Stoddart's European Aviation. The move to Europe resulted in increased investment into the series and an increased number of Formula 1 cars taking part in races. It mainly saw grids of around 12–15 cars but on some occasions as few as five cars competed in a race, and in some instances 20+ entries. Zele Racing is an Austrian motor racing team currently competing in the BOSS GP series via a partnership with HS Engineering. The team has raced in Auto GP claiming the series' final stand-alone championship in 2015, along with having previously supported Super Formula teams Nakajima Racing and B-Max Racing, and B-Quik Absolute Racing in the Thailand Super Series. The Renault Sport Series (formerly known as World Series by Renault) was a motor racing series. The series latterly consisted of the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, and used to contain the Renault Sport Trophy and the Formula Renault 3.5 Series. The Formula 3000 International Championship was a motor racing series created by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) in 1985 to become the final preparatory step for drivers hoping to enter Formula One. International Formula Master, also known as Formula Super 2000, was a European-based junior single seater formula. The series was conceived as a competitor for Formula Three and made its debut at Valencia in 2007. European television channel Eurosport were backing the series and the series regularly supported the World Touring Car Championship during its European races. 2009 EuroBOSS Series Season
