2009–10 National Premier League
The 2009–10 National Premier League (known as the Digicell Premier League for sponsorship reasons) was contested by 12 teams. The Championship was won by Harbour View F.C. The season began September 6, 2009 and ended on May 16, 2010. Format The 12 teams will play 3 rounds (33 games) and then split. The top six teams will play in the Championship Playoff and the bottom six in the Relegation Playoff (5 games). The bottom 2 teams will be relegated to the Super Leagues. The Jamaica Premier League (formerly the National Premier League), commonly abbreviated as JPL and officially known as the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League for sponsorship reasons, is sanctioned by the Jamaican Football Federation as the top division for men's association football in Jamaica. KSAFA Super League
The KSAFA Championship (formerly KSAFA Super League), also known as the Wray & Nephew KSAFA Championship for sponsorship purposes, is a men's third division football league sanctioned by the Jamaican Football Federation. The league is contested between 12 clubs that are based in the parishes of St. Andrew and Kingston, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation whereas at the end of each season the two finalists are promoted to JFF National Tier II, and the lowest placed teams are relegated to KSAFA Major League. Competition format The league consists of a preliminary round consisting of 12 teams in a league table format, playing each other team twice, at home and away. At the end of the preliminary round, the top four teams advance to semifinals knock-out round. The winner will be allowed to participate in the JFF National Tier II competition should they wish to do so for a chance to earn promotion to the Jamaica Premier League. South Central Confederation Super League
The South Central Confederation Super League is a second division football league in the nation of Jamaica. The twelve teams that currently compete in the league are based in the parishes of Clarendon, Manchester, St. Catherine and St. Elizabeth. At the end of each season the winners qualify for the National Premier League Playoff along with the winners of the KSAFA Super League, Eastern Confederation Super League and Western Confederation Super League. The 2011 CFU Club Champions’ Cup was the 13th edition of the CFU Club Championship, the annual international club football competition in the Caribbean region, held amongst clubs whose football associations are affiliated with the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). Sporting Central Academy or otherwise known simply as Sporting is a Jamaican Football (soccer), football club based in the Clarendon Parish, Jamaica, Clarendon, Jamaica. Sporting Central plays in Clarendon Major League, the third tier of Jamaican football. History After the collapse of Galaxy F.C.
