2009–10 Major Indoor Soccer League Season
The 2009–10 Major Indoor Soccer League was the sophomore season for the league, and first under the revived MISL banner. It marked the 32nd season of professional Division 1 indoor soccer. The members of the MISL's second season teams were the Baltimore Blast, the Milwaukee Wave, the Monterrey La Raza, the Philadelphia KiXX, and the Rockford Rampage. The season kicked off on November 13, 2009, with the NISL champion, Baltimore Blast, welcoming the Rockford Rampage. The regular season concluded on March 21, 2010, with the Rockford Rampage hosting Monterrey La Raza. This year also marks the first season since the KiXX founding that they would play at a new arena, the Liacouras Center, on the campus of Temple University. Shortly before the season began, the league was re-branded as the Major Indoor Soccer League. Rockford Rampage
The Rockford Rampage was an American indoor soccer team based in Rockford, Illinois, United States. Founded in 2005 as the Rockford Thunder, the team originally played in the American Indoor Soccer League until 2008 then moved to the Major Indoor Soccer League (2008–), Major Indoor Soccer League from 2008 to 2010. They were revived to play in the Professional Arena Soccer League for the 2012–13 PASL season, 2012–13 season but folded after the season ended. Carlos Farias
Carlos "Chile" Farias (born May 15, 1976 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean soccer forward who has spent his entire professional career in the United States. Over the years, he has played in five indoor and outdoor leagues, including Major League Soccer. He currently plays with the Ontario Fury in the Major Arena Soccer League. He also has a wife, Jacqueline, and two children, David and Favian. History In March 1996, the San Jose Clash of Major League Soccer selected Farias in the fifteenth round (148th overall) of the 1996 MLS Inaugural Player Draft. Farias never played a league game with the Clash before being waived on March 26, 1996. Lucio Gonzaga
Lucio Luiz de Oliveira Gonzaga (born August 7, 1980), known as just Lúcio Gonzaga, is a Brazilian soccer player who currently plays for Florida Tropics SC in the Major Arena Soccer League. Career South America Gonzaga was part of the youth setups at local Brazilian teams São Caetano and Juventus, and spent his early professional career playing in the lower divisions in Brazil and Uruguay, playing for RC Montevideo, Araxá, Rio Branco Andradas and São Caetano. North America Gonzaga moved to the United States in 2007 when he signed with indoor soccer team Baltimore Blast. Troy Dusosky
Troy Dusosky (born May 12, 1976) is a retired American soccer defender who played for the Milwaukee Wave of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Over his career, he has played primarily indoor soccer with a handful of seasons in the USL A-League. He also briefly worked as a professional wrestler. Soccer Dusosky graduated from Anoka High School in 1994. After spending one year attending Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wisconsin, he turned professional. In 1995, he signed a developmental contract with Cleveland Crunch of the National Professional Soccer League. However, he still saw time in 20 first team games as the Crunch won the league championship. Dusosky and his teammates repeated as champions in 1999. Denison Cabral
Denison Cabral is a retired Brazilian-American soccer forward /midfielder who played professionally in the Continental Indoor Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and USISL. He played three games for the United States national futsal team at the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup, scoring one goal for the American team. In 2007 the Brazilian-American participated in his first official FIFA event as a member of the US Futsal Men's team in the 2007 Pan American games in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Max Ferdinand
Max Ferdinand (born November 4, 1986) is a Haitian footballer currently playing for the Milwaukee Wave in the Major Arena Soccer League. Career Youth and amateur Ferdinand grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania and attended Reading High School, but did not play college soccer. Machel Millwood
Machel Millwood (born 28 June 1979) is a Jamaican soccer player who most recently played for Crystal Palace Baltimore in the USSF Second Division and the Syracuse Silver Knights of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Millwood is best known for his career in the MISL, playing for championship teams with the Baltimore Blast and helping the 2013–2014 Syracuse Silver Knights make the MISL playoffs.
