Macclesfield Town F
Macclesfield () is a market town and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East, Cheshire, England. It is sited on the River Bollin and the edge of the Cheshire Plain, with Macclesfield Forest to its east; the town lies south of Manchester and east of Chester. Before the Norman Conquest, Macclesfield was held by Edwin, Earl of Mercia and was assessed at £8. The medieval town grew up on the hilltop around what is now St Michael's Church. It was granted a municipal charter in 1261. Macclesfield Grammar School was founded in 1502. The town had a silk-button industry from at least the middle of the 17th century and became a major silk-manufacturing centre from the mid-18th century. The Macclesfield Canal was constructed in 1826–31. Hovis breadmakers were another Victorian employer; modern industries include pharmaceuticals, such as Astra Zeneca. Craig Westcarr
Craig Naptali Westcarr (born 29 January 1985) is an English professional footballer who last played as a striker for Eastwood. He began his career at Nottingham Forest, becoming the youngest player ever to play for the club when he made his first team debut in October 2001 at the age of 16. He was loaned out to Lincoln City and Milton Keynes Dons in 2005, before he left the Football League to spend the 2005–06 season in the Conference with Cambridge United. He then spent three seasons with Kettering Town, helping the club to win the Conference North title in 2007–08. He signed with Notts County in May 2009, and helped the club to win the League Two title in 2009–10. He was sold on to Chesterfield in August 2011, and won the Football League Trophy with the club in 2012, scoring a goal in the final. He joined Walsall, initially on loan, in November 2012. Glenville Adam James Le Fondre (born 2 December 1986) is an English professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), striker for Northern Premier League club F.C. United of Manchester, FC United of Manchester. Rotherham United F
Rotherham ( ) is a market town in South Yorkshire, England. It lies at the confluence of the River Rother, South Yorkshire, River Rother, from which the town gets its name, and the River Don, Yorkshire, River Don. It is the largest settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham. Before the Industrial Revolution, traditional industries included farming, glass making and flour milling. Morecambe ( ) is a seaside town and civil parish in the City of Lancaster district of Lancashire, England, on Morecambe Bay, part of the Irish Sea. In 2011 the parish had a population of 34,768. Name The first use of the name was by John Whitaker (historian), John Whitaker in his ''History of Manchester'' (1771), when he refers to the "æstury of Moricambe". It next appears four years later in ''Antiquities of Furness'', where the bay is described as "the Morecambe Bay, Bay of Morecambe". That name is derived from the Roman name ''Moriancabris Æsturis'' shown on maps prepared for them by ''Claudius Ptolemœus'' (Ptolemy) from his original Greek maps. At this distance in time it is impossible to say if the name was originally derived from an earlier language (e.g. Celtic language) or from Greek. Christie Park (Morecambe)
Christie Park was the home of Morecambe FC, located on the corner of Christie Avenue and Lancaster Road in Morecambe, Lancashire, England. Christie Park had a capacity of approximately 6,400. It comprised three covered stands and one uncovered stand. The only seated stand (the Main Stand) ran along the length of the pitch on one side. The main terraced end (the North Stand) was situated behind one of the goals, and was the location for the majority of the home fans on match days. The other covered stand (the Umbro Stand) was opposite the North Stand and was where away fans were placed during segregated matches. The capacity in this stand could be increased using temporary terracing, such as when Carlisle United visited on Boxing Day, 2004. Carlisle United played their home matches at Christie Park for six weeks in 2005 during repair work following flooding at their Brunton Park ground. Ross James Draper (born 20 October 1988) is an English football player and coach who plays for club Elgin City. Draper, who plays as a central midfielder, has previously played for Shrewsbury Town, Stafford Rangers, Hednesford Town, Macclesfield Town, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ross County and Cove Rangers. Career Draper started his career as a trainee at Shrewsbury Town, before moving to Conference National club Stafford Rangers in August 2007. Michael Twiss
Michael John Twiss (born 26 December 1977) is an English former footballer who played as a midfielder. He scored 95 goals in 458 competitive matches in a 15-year career. Beginning his career with Manchester United, he enjoyed a loan spell with Sheffield United without ever making a league appearance for the "Red Devils". He signed with Port Vale in July 2000, moving on to non-League Leigh RMI a year later. In 2002, he transferred to Chester City, joining Morecambe two years later. He won promotion into the English Football League with both clubs, helping Chester to the Conference title in 2003–04 and playing for the "Shrimps" in their play-off final success in 2007.
