2008–09 Nissar Trophy
The Mohammad Nissar Trophy was an annual first class cricket competition which takes place in Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi, India from 15 to 18 September 2008. It was contested over four days between Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited cricket team the winner of Quaid-i-Azam Trophy from Pakistan and Delhi cricket team the winner of Ranji Trophy from India. Delhi Cricket Team
The Delhi cricket team is a first-class cricket team based in Delhi Delhi, officially the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, is a city and a union territory of India containing New Delhi, the capital of India. Feroz Shah Kotla Ground
The Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium (formerly Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium) is a cricket stadium owned and operated by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) and located on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi. It was established in 1883 as the ''Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium'', and named after the nearby Kotla fort. It is situated on land that is a historical part of Ferozabad, the 14th-century city established by Sultan Feroz Shah Tughlaq in 1354 CE. It is within the fortified city and shares historical proximity with the surviving structures of the Kotla complex, such as the Jami Masjid. In cricket, a batsman is not out if they come out to bat in an innings and have not been dismissed by the end of an innings. The batsman is also ''not out'' while their innings is still in progress. Occurrence At least one batter is not out at the end of every innings, because once ten batters are out, the eleventh has no partner to bat on with, so the innings ends. Virender Sehwag (, born 20 October 1978) is a former Indian cricketer who represented India from 1999 to 2013. Samiullah Khan Niazi (born 4 August 1982) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former first-class cricketer who played for Sargodha, Faisalabad and Pakistan as a left-arm medium-fast bowler.
