Kategoria E Parë
Kategoria e Parë is the second tier of professional football in Albania Albania ( ; or ), officially the Republic of Albania (), is a country in Southeast Europe. It is located in the Balkans, on the Adriatic Sea, Adriatic and Ionian Seas within the Mediterranean Sea, and shares land borders with Montenegro to ..., positioned below Kategoria Superiore and above Kategoria e Dytë. Established in 1930, the league comprises 12 teams. The top two teams earn direct promotion to Kategoria Superiore, while the teams ranked 3rd to 6th enter a playoff tournament. The winner faces the 8th-placed team from Kategoria Superiore in a promotion play-off match. At the other end of the table, the bottom two teams are relegated to Kategoria e Dytë, while the teams finishing 9th and 10th must compete in a relegation play-off to retain their spot in the league. KS Burreli
Klubi Sportiv Burreli is an Albanian football club based in Burrel. Their home ground is the Liri Ballabani Stadium and they compete in the Kategoria e Parë. History The club was founded in 1928, but was not an organised club until 1935 under the name ''Deja Burrel''. The name was changed in 1945 to ''31 Korriku Burreli'', which was again changed in 1951 to ''Puna Burrel''. Between 1958 and 1991 the club was renamed ''31 Korriku Burrel'' before changing to its current name ''Burreli''. Known as the Second Division since the 2004–05 season, it consists of 23 teams split into two geographically-based groups. The winners of each group secure promotion to Kategoria e Parë and face off in the final to determine the season’s overall champion. 2009–10 Kategoria Superiore
The 2009–10 Kategoria Superiore was the 74th season of top-tier football in Albania and the twelfth season under the name ''Kategoria superiore''. The season began on 23 August 2009 and ended on 19 May 2010. Tirana was the defending champions. Team changes from last season Lushnja and Elbasani were directly relegated to the Kategoria e Parë after finishing 11th and 12th in the previous year's standings. They were replaced by Kategoria e Parë champions Laçi and runners-up Skënderbeu. 9th placed Bylis and 10th placed Partizani had to compete in single-match relegation play-offs.
