Boyet Fernandez
Teodorico "Boyet" Fernandez III is a Filipino former professional basketball player who serves as the head coach of the Biñan Tatak Gel of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and the Pilipinas Super League (PSL). Playing career Fernandez first broke into public consciousness as a member of the highly touted 1991 Southeast Asian Games gold medal-winning team, where he was back-up to Johnny Abarrientos. Prior to that, he was part of the National Team that finished seventh in the Asian Basketball Confederation (ABC), forerunner of FIBA-Asia. He played college ball for Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod. He is known for his years as a player with the Sta. Lucia Realtors, Alaska Milkmen, Pop Cola 800s, and the Purefoods TJ Hotdogs. Marlou Aquino
Marlou Bucao Aquino (born October 7, 1972) is a Filipino former professional basketball player who currently serves as the team consultant for the Pangasinan Heatwaves of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). During his prime, he was known by fans as "The Skyscraper" and was, along with Edward Joseph Feihl, one-half of the so-called "Twin Towers" of the Ginebra San Miguel. Amateur career Although born in the province of Pangasinan, Marlou Aquino made an impact as a player in Metro Manila as he played for the Adamson Falcons in the UAAP. Joseph Yeo
Joseph Henry Lim Yeo (born September 7, 1983) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Manila Stars of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He was drafted third overall by the Coca-Cola Tigers in 2006. Amateur career Yeo took his primary and secondary education at Xavier School and his collegiate education at De La Salle University. He was a part of the Green Archers team that completed its quest for four-peat by defeating Ateneo in the 2001 UAAP finals. From a UAAP rookie year in 2001 where he averaged of 3.4 points, 1.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 9.5 minutes per game, he improved this to an average statline of 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 23.3 minutes in the 2004 season. San Miguel Beermen
The San Miguel Beermen are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It is one of three PBA clubs owned by the San Miguel Corporation group of companies along with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots. It is the most successful franchise in the history of the PBA and the only remaining original franchise in the league. Kelly Williams
Kelly Williams (born February 7, 1982) is a Filipino-American professional basketball player for the TNT Tropang 5G in the PBA. He played collegiate basketball at Oakland University, an NCAA Division I school in the United States, and he also represented the Philippines in international competitions. Early life Williams was born in Detroit, Michigan to an American father and a Filipina mother. He is the youngest of three children. His father died of cancer at the age of 69 when he was seven years old. He attended Martin Luther King High School where he played in the Detroit PSL basketball league. The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, or simply known as the Magnolia Hotshots, are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association. The Powerade Tigers were a professional basketball team that played in the Philippine Basketball Association from 2002 to 2012. The franchise was owned by Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. Barako Bull Energy
The Barako Bull Energy were a Philippine Basketball Association that began in 2002 as the FedEx Express. From its first season until 2005, the team was dubbed as the FedEx Express before changing to Air21 Express. From the 2009 PBA Fiesta Conference until the 2009–10 PBA Philippine Cup, it became known as the Burger King Titans. However, when manager Mikee Romero decided to pull out of the team, they were reorganized and renamed the Burger King Whoppers before returning to their original name starting the 2010 PBA Fiesta Conference.
