The English Football League Championship, known simply as the Championship and for sponsorship purposes as Sky Betting & Gaming, Sky Bet Championship, is a professional association football league in England and Wales. Gary Sawyer
Gary Dean Sawyer (born 5 July 1985) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender. He started his career at Plymouth Argyle, and in-between spells at Home Park has also played for Leyton Orient, Weymouth, Exeter City, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers before ending his career back at Plymouth Argyle. Upon finishing his career at Plymouth, Gary joined local North Devon Football League team, Park United. Career Early career Sawyer was born in Enfield, London, moving to Bideford, Devon at a young age, and developed his football career in the youth system at Plymouth Argyle. In the 2003–04 season, Sawyer had a loan spell with Weymouth, during which he made only one appearance. Romain Larrieu
Romain Larrieu (born 31 August 1976) is a French former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, most notably in the Football League for Plymouth Argyle. He started his career at Montpellier in 1994. After failing to make an appearance at Montpellier, he moved to Valence in 1998, where he played one match in the French Division 2. He joined Plymouth Argyle in 2000 staying at the club until 2012. During his time at Plymouth Argyle, he amassed almost 300 league appearances and went on loan twice, at Gillingham and Yeovil Town. Larrieu was last registered with semi-professional South West Peninsula League club Camelford in 2014. Bojan Djordjic (, ; ; born 6 February 1982) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a winger. Starting off his career with IF Brommapojkarna in the late 1990s, Djordjic soon joined Manchester United, with which he was named the 1999–2000 Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year, and AIK, with which he won the 2009 Allsvenskan and 2009 Svenska Cupen. Larrys Mabiala Destin (born 8 October 1987) is a former professional footballer who last played for the Portland Timbers, having previously played for Turkish Süper Lig club Kayserispor as a defender, Paris Saint-Germain, Plymouth Argyle, and Nice. Paul Wotton
Paul Anthony Wotton (born 17 August 1977) is an English former professional footballer who is the manager of Torquay United. Having begun his career with his home-town side, Wotton went on to become the club's most successful captain as they won two Football League titles in three seasons. By the time he left Plymouth in 2008, Wotton had broken into the top ten of the club's all-time appearance list – playing in more than 400 matches – and won their Player of the Year award twice. A year later, he was inducted into the club's Hall of Fame. Wotton went on to spend three seasons with Southampton, with whom he won the Football League Trophy at Wembley Stadium during the 2009–10 season. Ian Scott Holloway (born 12 March 1963) is an English professional football manager, former player, media personality and television pundit who is the manager of club Swindon Town. A midfielder, he notably played in the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers, where he made just under 150 league appearances in a five-year spell. He spent most of his career at boyhood club Bristol Rovers, where he had three spells, which included the start and finish of his playing career.
