The 2007–08 season was PAOK FC, PAOK Football Club's 82nd in existence and the club's Super League Greece#Seasons in Alpha Ethniki and Super League Greece, 49th consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The team entered the Greek Football Cup in the fourth round. PAOK FC (, ), short for "Pan-Thessalonian Sports club, Athletic Club of Constantinople, Constantinopolitans" (), and commonly known as PAOK Thessaloniki, PAOK Salonika or simply PAOK, is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in Thessaloniki, Macedonia (Greece), Macedonia, Greece. PAOK are one of the top domestic clubs, the most widely supported in Northern Greece. Nikos Arabatzis
Nikos Arabatzis (Greek: Νίκος Αραμπατζής; born 10 March 1984) is a Greek footballer currently playing for AEG Dachau. He usually plays as a right defender but past coaches have also used him as a right midfielder, making him a modern full-back. He is known for his pace and crossing. While still in Panserraikos he became member of the Greece national under-21 football team. In the 2006 winter transfer window he was bought by PAOK FC and has made an instant impact. He attracted the interest of AEK Athens but the bid of 900.000 euros was rejected to the delight of PAOK fans. Pantelis Konstantinidis
Pantelis Konstantinidis (; born 16 August 1975) is a Greek former footballer who played as a left winger, could also play as a left back. His quick dribbling in his youth earned the nickname "Svouras" (''spinning top''). During 2010 Konstantinidis assumed the position of technical director at PAOK, succeeding Zisis Vryzas. He could also play as a defender. Club career Konstantinidis began playing football at PAS Florina. In 1993 he was signed by the Greek champions, AEK Athens, He was in the roster of the team, when they won their third consecutive championship, but he did not manage to make a single appearance. Panagiotis Kourdakis
Panagiotis Kourdakis (; born 15 August 1988) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Hungarian club Maglódi TC. Career Born in Kyani, Kourdakis began playing football with AE Didymoteichou. In 2004 after a trial he entered the youth ranks of PAOK. He has been loaned to several lower-level Greek clubs and made his debut in Football League 2 with Thermaikos F.C. in September 2008. He has also played for Pyrsos Grevena F.C. and Anagennisi Epanomi F.C. in Football League 2. He signed for OFI Crete in the summer of 2012 after a short trial period with the club. Christos Melissis
Christos Melissis, (; born 1 December 1982) is a Greek football player who played for Sudanese club Al-Hilal Omdurman. He has played in the past for Naoussa, Panserraikos, PAOK, Panathinaikos, AEL, Panthrakikos, Marítimo in Portugal and the Greek national team. He usually plays as a center back but when called upon he is used as a right back or a defensive midfielder. Ruud Knol
Ruud Knol (born 13 March 1981) is a Dutch professional football coach and former player. He most notably played as a centre-back for Vitesse between 2000 and 2007. Club career Knol was born in Zevenaar, in the province of Gelderland and started his career at OBW, where he was spotted by Vitesse scouts. He made his professional debut for Vitesse on 8 September 2000, replacing Theo Janssen in the 80th minute of a 2–2 draw against Willem II. Goran Gavrančić (Serbian Cyrillic: Горан Гавранчић; born 2 August 1978) is a Serbian retired footballer who played as a defender. He represented Serbia and Montenegro at the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
