Millwall F
Millwall is a district on the western and southern side of the Isle of Dogs, in east London, England, in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It lies to the immediate south of Canary Wharf and Poplar, north of Greenwich and Deptford, east of Rotherhithe, west of Cubitt Town, and has a long shoreline along London's Tideway, part of the River Thames. It was part of the County of Middlesex and from 1889, following the passing of the Local Government Act 1888, the County of London; it later became part of Greater London in 1965. Millwall had a population of 23,084 in 2011 and includes Island Gardens, The Quarterdeck and The Space. History Millwall is a smaller area of land than an average parish, as it was part of Poplar until the 19th century when it became heavily industrialised, containing the workplaces and homes of a few thousand dockside and shipbuilding workers. Chris Hackett (footballer)
Christopher James Hackett (born 1 March 1983) is an English retired footballer who works as assistant manager at Oxford United. Club career Oxford United Born in Oxford, Oxfordshire, Hackett started his career with home-town club Oxford United, where he progressed through the club's youth system and reserve side. His appearances for Oxford United's SE Counties League youth team earned Hackett a place among the club's first-year trainees, beginning in July 1999. His performances for the youth team led to a first-team call up by manager Denis Smith (footballer, born 1947), Denis Smith. Hackett made his debut as a 77th-minute substitute in a 2–0 loss against Wigan Athletic F.C., Wigan Athletic on 8 April 2000. He made a further substitute appearance in the last match of the season. In 2000–01, Hackett featured more frequently in the first team and received more playing time. On 16 December 2000, he scored his first goal for the club, in a 3–1 win over Northampton Town.
