The 2007–08 Magyar Kupa (English: ''Hungarian Cup'') was the 68th season of Hungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. Third round The legs were played on 28 and 29 August, 5 September 2007. Round of 32 The legs were played on 25 and 26 September 2007. Round of 16 The first legs were played on 23 and 24 October, and the second legs were played on 6 and 7 November 2007. Quarter-finals The first legs were played on March 18 and 19, 2008, while the second legs were played on March 25 and 27. Semi-finals The first legs were played on April 1 and 2, 2008, while the second legs were played on April 8 and 9. History The club was founded in 1912 as Világosság Football Club. At that time, Budafok was not part of Budapest; it joined the capital city only in 1950, along with other towns such as Újpest and Kispest.
