The 2007–08 Liga Indonesia Premier Division (also known as the Liga Djarum Indonesia for sponsorship reasons) was the 13th season of the Liga Indonesia Premier Division as well as its final season as the top Indonesian professional league for association football clubs. Liga Indonesia Premier Division (Indonesian language, Indonesian: ''Divisi Utama Liga Indonesia'') was the second-tier of the Indonesian football league system, football competition system in Indonesia, organized by PSSI. The competition started in 1994 as a top-tier division in the Indonesian football league system. Prior to the formation of Indonesia Super League in 2008, the Premier Division was the Indonesian top-flight football league. Along with Indonesia Super League, Premier Division is a fully professional competition. The competition is usually divided into several groups because of factors in terms of geography and number of participants. Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Kabupaten Bogor or Persikabo was a football club based in Cibinong, Bogor Regency. They competed for the last time in 2018 Liga 3, the third tier of Indonesian football. Perseman stands for Persatuan Sepakbola Manokwari. Perseman Manokwari is an Indonesian football club based in Manokwari, West Papua. They play in the Liga 4. Their home stadium is Sanggeng Stadium. The Indonesian football league system is a series of league system for association football clubs in Indonesia. The 2008–09 Liga Indonesia Premier Division (also known as Liga Esia for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th season of the Liga Indonesia Premier Division. It was the first season for the Liga Indonesia Premier Division as the second tier of the Indonesian football pyramid, following the creation of the Indonesia Super League as the first tier. Changes from 2007–08 season The Football Association of Indonesia's decision to create a new Indonesia Super League relegated the Liga Indonesia Premier Division to the second tier of Indonesian football for the first time.
