Mutual FC
Sparta Asia Football Club () is a Hong Kong football club currently competing in the Hong Kong Second Division. During the 2008–09 season, it once competed in the top-tier Hong Kong First Division, and was relegated after finishing 12th out of 13 teams. At the end of the 2010–11 season, after gaining promotion to the First Division from the runner-up position in the Second Division, it withdrew from the First Division and was expunged from the Hong Kong league system by the HKFA. IT rejoined the league system and competed in the Fourth Division in the 2012–13 season. In 2015, the Asia football academy of the Dutch Eredivisie club Sparta Rotterdam took charge of the club and it rebranded as Sparta Rotterdam Mutual FC. The partnership ended after 2018. The football section of Hong Kong Football Club (Abbreviation: HKFC; ) sports club fields a range of teams at various age divisions in Hong Kong leagues. Their football team currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. History While the football team has won many titles in the second-tier competition in recent years, they have rarely enjoyed success when playing against professional sides in the First Division. In 1980 however, the club managed to avoid relegation from the professional First Division for the first time in their history. One of the highlights of the season was a 1–1 draw with eventual champions Seiko SA. Fukien Athletic Club () is a Hong Kong multi-sports club, best known for its football team. Its football club currently plays in the Hong Kong Third Division. History Fukien Athletic Club was founded in 1925. At the early period, the club was funded by Chinese businessman and philanthropist Tan Kah Kee, who heralded from Fujian, as well as by group of Fujian immigrants. The club was very successful in 1990s in the then top-tier First Division under the name Instant-Dict (). Kui Tan Sports Club () is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. History In 1975–76, Kui Tan won the Hong Kong Third A Division title, the first trophy in the club's history. In 1977–78, Kui Tan finished runners up in the Hong Kong Second Division title and were promoted into the Hong Kong First Division for the first time. They also won the Hong Kong Junior Challenge Shield, the first cup competition victory in club history.
