2007–08 CEV Challenge Cup
The 2007–08 CEV Challenge Cup was the 28th edition of the European CEV Challenge Cup, Challenge Cup volleyball club tournament, the former CEV Cup. The Italian club Cimone Modena beat the Russian club Lokomotiv Ekaterinburg in the final and achieved its fifth CEV Challenge Cup trophy. CEV Challenge Cup
The CEV Challenge Cup is the third tier official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition started in the 1980–81 season under the name CEV Cup. Ángel Dennis
Ángel Dennis (born 13 June 1977) is a Cuban-born Italian volleyball player. Dennis played with the Cuba men's national volleyball team, Cuban men's national volleyball team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where he finished in seventh place. He was widely regarded as the most talented player on the Cuban men's team. He helped the Cuban team win the bronze medal at the 1998 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, 1998 FIVB World Championship in Japan. Club volleyball Dennis played for IVECO Palermo from 1998 to 2000. After a period of inactivity, Dennis returned to play in 2003-2004 for Latina Volley, before moving to Lube Banca Marche Macerata the following year, after a short stint in Qatar. With Lube he won a top national division and an Italian Supercup in 2006, and two CEV Cups (2005–2006). André Heller (volleyball)
André Heller (born 17 December 1975) is a Brazilian former volleyball player. A three-time Olympian (2000, 2004 and 2008), he played as a middle-blocker. He won the gold medal with the men's national team at the 2003 FIVB Men's World Cup in Japan and at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. After the 2013–2014 season, he retired from professional volleyball at the age of 38. Resovia (volleyball)
Resovia, officially known for sponsorship reasons as Asseco Resovia, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Rzeszów in southeastern Poland, founded in 1937. They compete in the Polish PlusLiga. Initially part of the Resovia (sports club), Resovia multi-sports club founded 1905, it has operated independently since 2006. The club has won seven Polish Champion titles and three national cups. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.
