2007 NACAC Cross Country Championships
The 2007 NACAC Cross Country Championships took place on March 3, 2007. The races were held at the United States Triathlon National Training Center in Clermont, Florida, United States. North American, Central American And Caribbean Athletic Association
The North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) is the continental confederation governing body of athletics for national governing bodies and multi-national federations within Northern America, Central America, and the Caribbean. NACAC is one of six area associations of World Athletics (WA), previously named the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). NACAC was founded on December 10, 1988, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Presidents Amadeo Francis of Puerto Rico was elected as the first president of the association. He was re-elected in 1999 and 2003. In 2007 Neville "Teddy" McCook (Jamaica) was elected as new president and was re-elected in 2011. An aurora (plural: auroras or aurorae), also commonly known as the polar lights, is a natural light display in Earth's sky, predominantly seen in high-latitude regions (around the Arctic and Antarctic). Auroras display dynamic patterns of brilliant lights that appear as curtains, rays, spirals, or dynamic flickers covering the entire sky. Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by the solar wind. Major disturbances result from enhancements in the speed of the solar wind from coronal holes and coronal mass ejections. Lindsay Warren Carson (born November 21, 1960) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre who played seven seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Philadelphia Flyers and Hartford Whalers. Carson was born in Oxbow, Saskatchewan, but grew up in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Playing career Carson started his NHL career with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1981.
