The Slovenian PrvaLiga (, ), currently named Prva liga Telemach due to sponsorship reasons, also known by the abbreviation 1. SNL, is the top level of the Slovenian football league system. Contested by ten clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Slovenian Second League (2. SNL). Seasons typically run from July to May with each team playing 36 matches. The competition was founded in 1991, after Slovenia became an independent country. From 1920 until the end of the 1990–91 season, the Slovenian Republic League was a lower division within the Yugoslav league system, although the top Slovenian clubs usually competed in the highest levels of the Yugoslav league system. The league is governed by the Football Association of Slovenia. Nogometni klub Nafta Lendava (), commonly referred to as NK Nafta Lendava or simply Nafta, was a Slovenian Association football, football club which played in the town of Lendava. The club was founded under the Hungarian name Lendvai Football Egyesület in 1903. Bonifika Stadium
Bonifika Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Koper, Slovenia. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FC Koper. The stadium is part of Bonifika sports complex, together with a smaller athletics stadium, indoor hall and an indoor swimming pool. Zoran Pavlović (born 27 June 1976) is a former Slovenian footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Although he was born in Tuzla, Pavlović's family moved to Velenje when he was young. He started his career at Rudar Velenje, making his first appearance in the Slovenian PrvaLiga during the 1994–95 season. Later, he played with Dinamo Zagreb, Austria Wien, Vorskla Poltava, Olimpija, Nafta Lendava, and Interblock. In the 2008–09 season, he played for and captained Maribor. After a string of poor results and a dispute with fans, he left the club in October 2009. He later signed on a combined player-sporting director contract with Drava Ptuj. He left the club in April 2010, allegedly due to a conflict surrounding the sacking of manager Milko Djurovski whom he had brought to the club only months before.
