2006–07 Macedonian Football Cup
The 2006–07 Macedonian Football Cup was the 15th season of Macedonia's football knockout competition. FK Makedonija Gjorche Petrov were the defending champions, having won their first title. The 2006–07 champions were FK Vardar who won their fifth title. FK Makedonija Gjorče Petrov ( mk, ФК Македонија Ѓорче Петров), commonly referred to as FK Makedonija G.P. KF Bashkimi (1947–2008)
KF Bashkimi ( mk, ФК Башкими) was a football club, which was played in the town of Kumanovo, North Macedonia. The club was dissolved before the 2008–09 Macedonian First League season, when they folded due to financial reasons. A successor club which claims rights to Bashkimi's honours and records was established in 2011 under the same name. However, they are not legally considered to be successors to the original Bashkimi and the two clubs' track records and honours are kept separate by the Football Federation of Macedonia. History The club was founded in 1947 and represented the Albanian people, living in the city of Kumanovo (the word ''Bashkimi'' in Albanian means ''unity''). FK Gostivar (1919)
FK Gostivar ( mk, ФК Гостивар) was a football club based in the city of Gostivar, Republic of Macedonia. It was founded in 1919 and was one of the oldest clubs in the country. In 2010 the club was merged with KF Rinia founded in 1998 (then renamed to KF Gostivari), and after that the club was dissolved. FK Bregalnica Štip
FK Bregalnica Štip ( mk, ФК Брегалница Штип) is a football club based in Štip, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian First League. History FK Bregalnica was formed in 1921 and currently plays in the Macedonian First League. Their nickname is The Blues because the club colours are all blue. They play their games at Ground Bregalnica Arena Shtip with Capacity of 4,000 sits. FK Teteks ( mk, ФК Тетекс) is a football club from the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History In 1946, there was a club from Tetovo called Šar Tetovo, and it competed in the Macedonian Republic League and Macedonian Cup. It won the Macedonian Cup two times in 1948 and 1950, and was successful in the Macedonian League. However, it was dissolved after a few years, mostly because of financial difficulties. Not much long after this, a new club was founded on the base of FK Šar, named Tekstilec. The club was founded in 1953, under the name FK Tekstilec. FK Rabotnichki ( mk, ФК Работнички) or more commonly Rabotnički (old transliteration) and Rabotnicki is a football club that plays at the Toshe Proeski Arena in Skopje, North Macedonia. FK Belasica ( mk, ФК Беласица) is a football club based in the city of Strumica, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second League. History The club was founded on 22 April 1922 at the cafe of Tašo Todorov, where fifty initiators gathered at the founding meeting for the football club Belasica Strumica. FK Metalurg ( mk, ФК Металург) is a football club from Skopje, North Macedonia. They are currently not playing in any of the four highest tiers of Macedonian football.
