2005–06 Malaysia Premier League
The 2005–06 Liga Premier (), also known as the TM Liga Premier due to sponsorship reasons, was the third season of the Liga Premier, the second-tier professional football league in Malaysia. The season began on 4 December 2005 and concluded on 22 May 2006. The champions for the 2005–06 season was Kedah which defeated Malacca during the final with a score of 1–0. Both clubs were promoted to the 2006–07 Malaysia Super League. Liga Premier
The Malaysia Premier League () was the second-tier professional Association football, football league in Malaysia. It replaced the Liga Perdana 2 in the Malaysian football league system. The Malaysia Premier League was contested by 12 clubs. The season usually ran from early February to late October, with a Ramadan break depending on the Islamic calendar. Clubs played 22 matches (home and away), totalling 132 matches in the season. Most games were played on Fridays, with a few games played during weekdays. The league operated on a system of promotion and relegation with promotion to the Malaysia Super League and relegation to the Malaysia M3 League. Negeri Sembilan FA
Negeri Sembilan Football Club (), commonly referred to as Negeri Sembilan or simply NSFC, is a Malaysian professional football club based in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. The club competes in the top division of Malaysian football, the Malaysia Super League. Founded in 1923 as Negeri Sembilan Football Association () it has been chaired by Dato' Seri Utama Haji Aminuddin Harun after replacing Tunku Syed Razman ibni al-Marhum Tunku Syed 'Idrus al-Qadri on 12 June 2025. The club represented the state of Negeri Sembilan, Darul Khusus, Malaysia, and won their first major honour in the 1948 Malaysia Cup. Since its establishment in 1923, Negeri Sembilan has won several domestic cups, such as the Malaysia Cup in 1948, 2009, and 2011, as well as the FA Cup in 2003 and 2010. Sarawak FA
Sarawak FA State Football Team () was a football team which represented the Malaysian region (formerly state) of Sarawak from 1974. It was one of the state teams of the Malaysian football structure. The team's home matches used to be played at the Sarawak State Stadium, Kuching. The team had won the Malaysia FA Cup in 1992, the old Malaysian Premier League in 1997 (which was Malaysian top-tier division league at the time) and the Malaysia Charity Shield in 1998. In 2013, the team won the second-tier division league, the Malaysia Premier League, in which they were promoted to the Malaysia Super League the following year. The team last played in the third-tier Malaysia M3 League in 2020, but due financial constraints faced by FAS at the time, Sarawak FA did not register to compete in the Malaysia M3 League the following year. Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club (English language, English: His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Brunei Football Club; Abbreviation, abbrev: DPMM or Brunei DPMM) is a professional association football, football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The club set to play in the Malaysia Super League from 2025–26 Malaysia Super League, 2025–26, the top tier of Malaysian football after last playing in the Singapore Premier League until 2024–25. Terengganu FA
Terengganu Football Club is a professional football club based in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, Malaysia, that competes in the Malaysia Super League, the first division of Malaysian football league system. The club had won major trophies in Malaysian football. Domestically they had won 1 Malaysia Cup, 2 Malaysia FA Cup, 1 Malaysia Charity Shield, 2 Malaysia Premier League titles and 1 FAM League title. Terengganu remains the only state team that has not won the top flight league since the introduction of the league in 1982 up until now. History On 22 November 1956, the club was founded as the Terengganu Football Association.
