2005–06 Albanian Cup
2005–06 Albanian Cup () was the fifty-fourth season of Albania's annual cup competition. It began on 28 August 2005 with the preliminary round and ended on 10 May 2006 with the Final match. The winners of the competition qualified for the 2006-07 first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. KF Teuta Durrës, Teuta were the defending champions, having won their third Albanian Cup 2004–05 Albanian Cup, last season. The cup was won by KF Tirana. The rounds were played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregated score was tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advanced. If the number of away goals was equal in both games, the match was decided by extra time and a Penalty shootout (association football), penalty shootout, if necessary. Klubi i Futbollit Bylis is an Albanian professional football club based in Ballsh, part of Mallakastër municipality. They compete in the Abissnet Superiore, the top tier of Albanian football. Futboll Klub Partizani is an Albanian professional football club (association football), football club based in Tirana, that competes in the Kategoria Superiore. Founded in 1946, the club was historically affiliated to the Albanian army. Partizani's home ground is the newly built stadium at Partizani Complex. Klubi i Futbollit Sopoti Librazhd is an Albanian sports club based in Librazhd. The club currently competes in the Kategoria e Dytë, the third tier of football in Albania. History They were founded in 1948 under the name ''KS Albania Tabak Librazhd'', and they play their home games at the Sopoti Stadium. The club is named after the nearby Sopot Mountain. They spent the 1992/93, 1993/94, 1995/96 and 1996/97 seasons in the ''Kategoria Superiore''. KF Gramozi
Football Club Gramozi is an Albanian football club based in Ersekë. History The club was founded in 1927 and competed in the lower divisions of Albanian football for much of its history. The club were crowned winners of the Albanian Second Division for the 2007–08 season, which led to their promotion to the Albanian First Division, the second tier. They were promoted to the Albanian Superliga for the first time at the end of the 2008–09 season, after beating Bylis Ballsh 5–2 in the playoff. The club achieved worldwide recognition in 2010 when they organised a friendly for the Taçi Oil Cup with Spanish giants Real Madrid in Tirana. The game ended in a 2–1 win for Real Madrid despite there being a lengthy two-hour power outage at half time at the Qemal Stafa Stadium. Gramozi were relegated from Albania's top level at the end of the 2009/10 season, after finishing bottom and 16 points from safety with former international player Agim Canaj at the helm.
