2004–05 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship
The 2004–05 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship was the 35th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1970-71. The competition began on 23 October 2004 and ended on 17 March 2004. The defending champion was Caltra; however, the club did not qualify after being beaten by Salthill–Knocknacarra in the quarter-final of the 2004 Galway County Championship. On 17 March 2005, Ballina Stephenites won the competition following a 1–12 to 2–8 defeat of Portlaoise in the All-Ireland final at Croke Park. It remains the club's only title. Oisín McConville of Crossmaglen Rangers was the competition's top scorer with 3-20. Color (or colour in Commonwealth English; see spelling differences) is the visual perception based on the electromagnetic spectrum. Though color is not an inherent property of matter, color perception is related to an object's light absorption, emission, reflection and transmission. For most humans, colors are perceived in the visible light spectrum with three types of cone cells ( trichromacy). Killererin GAA
Killererin () is a Gaelic football club based in the Tuam area in County Galway, Ireland. It is a member of the Galway GAA branch of the Gaelic Athletic Association. An exclusively football club, Killererin fields underage teams up to U-16s play in the Galway league and championships. History Founded in 1889, the club was originally named Killererin John Dillon's. Competing for much of the 20th century in the junior grade, the club won its first county junior championship title in 1968. Promoted to senior grade, the club won the Galway Senior Football Championship in 1976. The club went on to win several club titles, and won its sixth county title defeating Corofin in October 2010. St Conleth's Park
Cedral St Conleth's Park () is a GAA stadium in Newbridge, County Kildare, Ireland. It is the county ground of Kildare's Gaelic football, hurling, and Ladies' Gaelic Football teams. It also served as the town's greyhound racing track from 1948 until 1968. The park is named for Conleth (Conláed; –519), the parish's patron saint. The events of Newbridge or Nowhere involved this ground. Rathvilly Gaelic Athletic Association is a Gaelic football and ladies' Gaelic football club based in Rathvilly, County Carlow, Ireland. History The club was founded in 1888. The teacher Edward O'Toole was the first captain of the club; he was a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood (IRB) and an early influence on Kevin Barry. Rathvilly won its first Carlow Junior Football Championship in 1916. Muckalee GAA
Muckalee GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Muckalee, County Kilkenny, Ireland. The club is solely concerned with the game of Gaelic football. It is a sister club of St. Martin's. History Located in the townland of Muckalee, on the Carlow-Kilkenny border, Muckalee United, as the club was then known, was founded in 1917. The club was just five years old when it contested the JFC final, losing out to Barrow Rovers on that occasion. Muckalee made a breakthrough by winning the Northern JFC title in 1947, a win which was later converted into a Kilkenny JFC title. Further junior honours were claimed in 1953, 1966 and 1973. After promotion to the senior ranks, Muckalee claimed their first Kilkenny SFC title in 1968. It was the first of five titles, the last of which was claimed in 1990. Parnell Park is a GAA stadium in Donnycarney, Dublin, Ireland with a capacity of 7,300. St Patrick's GAA Club Wicklow Town is a Gaelic Athletic Association club with teams competing in Hurling, Gaelic Football, and Ladies Football in Wicklow League and Championship competitions. St Patrick's GAA club is the only GAA club in Wicklow Town and has three men's football teams, Senior, Junior A and Junior C. They have nine juvenile football teams. Kilmacud Crokes GAA
Kilmacud Crokes () is a large Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Stillorgan, Dublin, Ireland. Background Kilmacud GAA club was formed in 1959 following a public meeting in Saint Laurence's Hall, where Stillorgan shopping centre now stands. The first meeting of the club took place on 12 March 1959. Sixty people attended the meeting and donated a shilling each, meaning the club made Irish pound, IR£3.30 on the night. The club decided to use green-and-white jerseys, but they later decided to use the gold-and-purple colours, some say because of the local school Scoil Lorcain Naofa who also use gold and purple, others say it was because blue are the colours of the crocus. In 1963 the club purchased a -acre site behind the Ormonde Cinema as a permanent home pitch for themselves, Páirc de Burca, and in 1965 the adjoining Glenalbyn House was bought. History The club was founded in 1959 as a result of a merger between two clubs, Eoghan Ruadhs & St. Comans.
