The 2004–05 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship was the second staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association for the 2003–04 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship, 2003–04 season. The championship ran from 24 October 2004 to 28 March 2005. The 2004–05 All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship#All-Ireland final, All-Ireland final was played on 28 March 2005 at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise, between Carbery Rangers GAA, Carbery Rangers and Pomeroy Plunketts GAC, Pomeroy Plunketts. Markievicz Park () is the principal GAA stadium in County Sligo, Ireland, home to the Sligo Gaelic football and hurling teams. Built in 1955 in Sligo town (due mostly to Seán Forde who single-handedly gathered the funds necessary to build the stadium), it is named after Constance Markievicz, one of the participants of the 1916 Easter Rising, the first woman elected to Dáil Éireann and the first female elected to the British parliament, although she refused to take up her seat there. Parnells GAA
Parnells GAA or Parnells Gaelic Athletic Association club Gaelic football club was a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Coolock, Dublin, Ireland. It was founded in 1893, named after the recently deceased Charles Stewart Parnell, and at that time was known as Parnell Volunteers. Parnells won the Dublin senior football championship on six occasions, in 1913, 1916, 1939, 1945 and most recently in 1987, 1988. Following financial mismanagement the club entered liquidation and was wound up in January 2025. Coming of Age Within ten years of the club's foundation Parnell's had become well established in Dublin GAA circles. Timahoe GAA
Timahoe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in the village of Timahoe, County Laois, Ireland. Club colours are red and white and the club grounds are called Páirc Mochua. It provided the venue for the 1984 All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship final, where Kerry defeated Leitrim. Timahoe's only Laois Senior Football Championship title to date came in 1969 when Tom Joe Bradley captained the club to the county title. Bobby Miller was probably one of Timahoe's greatest ever players while former Laois senior star Pauric Clancy was midfielder on the 2003 Laois team which won the Leinster Senior Football Championship. Clonbullogue or Clonbolloge () is a village in County Offaly, Ireland. Location The village is located at the junction of the R401 and R442 regional roads. The '' Figile River'' runs through the village under the R442 near its confluence with the ''Philipstown River''. Between the village and Edenderry, 11 km to the north, lies the Bog of Allen. Clonbullogue is located near the point where three counties—Offaly, Laois and Kildare meet. The village is on an island of pasture land in the bog of Allen. The area is marked on the Cottonian map 1653 of Leix & Offaly as Clanbolg. In the 1659 Census, Robert Shallcross was listed as the titled person in the area. In 1679, Charles II granted this area to the Purefoy family and for a time the village was called Purefoy's Place. Avondale GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Rathdrum, County Wicklow, Ireland. The club fields teams in both hurling and Gaelic football. Nationalist leader Charles Stewart Parnell made the grounds of Avondale House available to the club in the early days, while his brother, John Howard Parnell, became club president. Tinryland GAA
Tinryland (, translated as "house of Raoilinn") is a village in County Carlow, Ireland, less than 5 km south of Carlow town. It is within the townland of Tinriland (historically Tinrilan), in the parish of Tullowmagimma. History Evidence of settlement in the Neolithic Period (3700-3400 BC) was found at the ancient burial site in ''Linkardstown'' in 1943. The find consisted of a polygonal stone chamber paved with stones that sloped upwards and inwards. Inside was found the remains of a single human, along with some pottery. Linkardstown Church and Graveyard is now in ruins, but the old stone baptismal font used in the church and which dates from the 18th century now stands in the grounds of the modern St. Joseph's Church, Tinryland. Ballyhogue GAA
Ballyhogue or Ballyhoge () is a village and census town in County Wexford, Ireland. The village, which lies in a townland and civil parish of the same name, had a population of 255 people as of the 2022 census. It is 10 km south of Enniscorthy. Evidence of ancient settlement in the area include a number of ecclesiastical sites and the remains of a hillfort to the south of the village. Some sources associate the ruined church of St. John, and its nearby graveyard, with the Knights Hospitaller. The local Roman Catholic church, Bellevue church, was built between 1858 and 1860. Depending on the sources, the designs of the church are attributed to either Augustus Pugin (1812–1852), his son Edward Welby Pugin (1834–1875), or architect James Joseph McCarthy (1817–1882).
