2003–04 Perth Glory SC Season
The 2003–04 Perth Glory SC season was the club's eighth season since its establishment in 1996, and its final season in the National Soccer League (NSL). Perth Glory finished top of the league and were crowned champions after defeating Parramatta Power in the 2004 NSL Grand Final. Review and events Stadium A redevelopment of Perth Oval, known as Member's Equity Stadium at the time, forced the Glory to play two home matches at Arena Joondalup in the northern suburbs of Perth. The unavailability of Perth Oval in the opening rounds led the Glory to play the majority of the first half of the season playing away. From the opening of the renovated stadium in round 12, Perth Glory only played four matches away until round 26. Perth Glory Football Club is an Australian professional Association football, soccer club based in Perth, Perth, Western Australia. It competes in the country's premier men's competition, A-League Men, under Professional sports league organization#Systems around the world, licence from Australian Professional Leagues. Founded in 1995, Perth Glory is one of three A-League clubs to survive from the now-defunct National Soccer League (Australia), National Soccer League (NSL), playing its debut match in this competition in October 1996 for the 1996–97 National Soccer League, 1996–97 season. Perry Park, Brisbane
Perry Park is a 5,000-capacity sporting ground located in the Brisbane suburb of Bowen Hills. Perry Park is home to the Brisbane Strikers, which plays in Queensland Premier League 1. Perry Park is owned by Brisbane City Council, and managed by the YMCA, who run facilities in the complex. Brisbane Strikers hold a sub-lease from the YMCA. History Scotsman William Raff was granted ownership of the land in 1857. He then subdivided the land in 1875, and the lot where Perry Park is now situated was sold to William Perry, among three other lots. Mr Perry was a prominent Brisbane ironmonger. He used the land essentially as his family cattle and horse paddock. Australian rules football In its oval configuration Perry Park was primarily used as an Australian rules football and cricket between the 1920s and 1950s. OKI Jubilee Stadium
Jubilee Stadium (also known as Kogarah Oval) is a multi-purpose stadium in Carlton, a suburb in Sydney, Australia. The stadium is mainly used for rugby league and the A-League, and is one of the home grounds of the National Rugby League (NRL) team St. George Illawarra Dragons. The stadium has hosted football matches, including Sydney Olympic FC in the 2003–04 National Soccer League and recently, Sydney FC in the 2018–19, 2019–20 A-League, 2020–21 and 2021–22 due to the rebuild of the Sydney Football Stadium. The Cronulla Sutherland Sharks temporarily played at Jubilee Stadium during the major redevelopment of their leagues club and stadium in 2020–21.
