Wrexham F
Wrexham ( ; ) is a city in the north-east of Wales. It lies between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley, near the border with Cheshire in England. Rhyl (; , ) is a seaside town and community in Denbighshire in Wales. The town lies on the coast of North Wales, at the mouth of the River Clwyd. To the west is Kinmel Bay and Towyn, to the east Prestatyn, and to the south-east Rhuddlan and St Asaph. At the 2011 Census, Rhyl had a population of 25,149, with Rhyl–Kinmel Bay having 31,229. Rhyl forms a conurbation with Prestatyn and its two outlying villages, the Rhyl/Prestatyn Built-up area, whose 2011 population of 46,267 makes it North Wales's most populous non-city. Rhyl was once an elegant Victorian resort town, but suffered rapid decline around the 1990s and 2000s; attempts have been made to reverse this through county investment, equal to around £15 million from Denbighshire County, however, the outcomes have been perceived with varying levels of success. Belle Vue (Rhyl)
Belle Vue is a multi-purpose stadium in Rhyl, Wales. It is used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of C.P.D. Y Rhyl 1879 . The stadium holds 3,000 people, with a seating capacity of 1,720. The stadium has occasionally hosted youth-level international football matches, including an under-16s match between Wales and Scotland. Recently, as a UEFA Category 2 stadium, it has hosted home European matches of other Welsh clubs whose home grounds did not meet the Category 2 requirements, including those of Bala Town and Connah's Quay Nomads. Hector Sam
Hector McLeod Sam (born 25 February 1978) is a Trinidadian former international football striker. He spent eight years as a professional player in the English Football League, most significantly playing a total of 176 games for Welsh club Wrexham between 2000 and 2005, helping them to league and cup success. After spending a season on the sidelines at Port Vale following a broken leg, he signed with Walsall in 2006. Following the club's relegation, he switched to Notts County before leaving the professional game in 2008. On either side of his adventures in the UK, he played for his hometown club San Juan Jabloteh. Brian Patrick Carey (born 31 May 1968) is an Irish former international footballer who played in the Football League for Leicester City as well as Wrexham, whom he also served as manager. Since his playing retirement he has worked as the Assistant Manager at Doncaster Rovers, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Chesterfield. He was the Lead Professional Development a Coach at Blackburn Rovers until May 2015.
