The 2003–04 Bulgarian Cup was the 64th season of the Bulgarian Cup. Litex Lovech won the competition, beating CSKA Sofia 6–5 on penalties in the final at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia. FC Lovech (; formerly Litex Lovech) is a Bulgarian professional association football, football club based in Lovech, that competes in the Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Second League. The club was founded in 1921 as Hisarya Sports Club and was known as Litex Lovech from 1996 to 2024. The club's home ground is the Gradski stadion (Lovech), Gradski Stadion, which has a capacity of 8,100 seats, electric floodlights and permission to stage European matches. As one of the successful Bulgarian clubs outside the capital Sofia, Lovech have won the domestic Bulgarian A PFG, championship four times and the Bulgarian Cup on four occasions. Profesionalen futbolen klub Svetkavitsa 1922 (; ) is a Bulgarian football club based in Targovishte, which currently competes in Bulgaria's third tier, the Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), North-East Third League. They play their home matches at the local Dimitar Burkov Stadium. Svetkavitsa have competed in the second division for a record 49 seasons, playing more second-flight league games than any other Bulgarian team. Kostinbrod
Kostinbrod ( ) is a town in western Bulgaria. It is the seat of Kostinbrod Municipality. It is located 15 km west of the capital city of Sofia. It is located on two important transport corridors: Lom — Sofia — Thessaloniki and Sofia — Belgrade. The international railway line to Western Europe passes through the municipality, with a train stop at Kostinbrod Station. The town is crossed by two rivers, the Blato in the north and the Belitsa in the south, both tributaries of the Iskar River. According to the legends, the town was founded by a certain Kosta, who settled near the crossing (брод, ''brod'') of the Belitsa, thus giving the name to the town (''Kostinbrod'' means "Kosta's ford"). Kaloyan Karadzhinov (; born 25 January 1977) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Club career Early career Karadzhinov started his career in the youth system of Lokomotiv Sofia. In 1996, he was released by Lokomotiv after failing to progress into their first team and joined amateur side Nadezhda Dobroslavtsi. They last played in the South-West Amateur Football Group, the third tier of Bulgarian football, before merging with DIT Academy, into PFC Septemvri Sofia. The club was founded in 2001.
