Fotbal Club Zimbru Chișinău, commonly known as Zimbru Chișinău or simply Zimbru, is a Moldovan professional Association football, football club based in Chișinău, which competes in the Moldovan Liga, Liga, the highest tier of Football in Moldova, Moldovan football. Founded in the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1947, Zimbru entered the Soviet Top League in 1956 and totaled eleven participations before their last relegation in 1983. Iulian Bursuc
Iulian Bursuc (born 23 September 1976) is a retired Moldovan professional football player. Career Iulian started his adult football career in 1992 with the Moldovan club " Agro" in Chișinău. In 1994, he moved to another capital club, " Constructorul." From 2001 to 2006, he played for FC Nistru Otaci. In 2005, he played on loan for the Kazakh club "Aktobe." In 2006, he moved to Lithuania and joined Vilnius-based "Žalgiris" (B). During his time with the Lithuanian club, he went on loan twice, first playing for the Belarusian club FC Savit Mogilev in 2008 and then for the Lithuanian club FK Tauras Tauragė in 2009. After his contract with Žalgiris ended, he moved to Uzbekistan and played for "Nasaf." Boris Cebotari (3 February 1975 – 15 July 2012) was a Moldovan footballer. Early life Boris Cebotari was born on 3 February 1975 in Sărăteni. Football career In April 2004, Cebotari moved to Ukraine at Volyn Lutsk after he played over 200 games for Zimbru. His last club was CSCA-Steaua Chişinău. He played his last official match for Moldova on 13 October 2004 against Scotland. In the whole 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification, he played for three times. Vladimir Aleksandrovich Shishelov (; born 8 November 1979) is an Uzbekistani-Russian retired football forward. Career His first professional club was Qizilqum Zarafshon he began to play in 1996. In 1997-1999 he played for ''Zarafshon Navoi''. He moved in 2002 to Zimbru Chişinău. He played two seasons for the club. In his first season, he scored 13 goals in League matches and became 2nd best goal scorer of League. In 2003–04 season he scored 15 goals and was the top scorer of the Moldovan National Division. Shishelov won the Moldovan Cup in 2003 while playing for Zimbru Chişinău. He got 28 caps and 11 goals for the national team between 2000 and 2012. FC Tiraspol was a Moldovan football (soccer), football club based in Tiraspol, Moldova. They played in the Moldovan National Division, Divizia Naţională, the top division in Moldovan football.
